I priced the new HP wide format plotter/printer and it was $1800+ tax on Amazon. I bought a Vevor plotter/printer for $500.00. I got that idea from a young lady on TH-cam. th-cam.com/video/sfpIjt1XlYs/w-d-xo.html it was a great idea. the only downfall is the paper size. The printer/plotter will only fit 34 inch wide paper. There is a learning curve, but I saved some money.

So I see that you have a heat pressed machine when I’m making corsets that aren’t transparent I use that to fuse my interfacing. It makes everything easier. I have a auto machine though from HTVRont but makes the process so smooth versus ironing

Fieyue makes Yamata and Yamato I recently bought an industrial cover stitch machine from them so far so good. I heard that they are a good brand. They are on the cheaper side when it comes to price, but supposedly they are very good brand.

Thank you for the updates. I ordered my updated version when you launched it and I received it in the mail. I am looking forward to cutting it out and getting started with making my very first prom dress (practice)😊I’m going to use the size of my size 08 dress form measurements to practice and then hopefully it turns out nice, and professional. I’ll probably donate it when done (before I feel confident to offer a service to the community). I LOVE sewing. But I’ve never sewn prom/party dresses. I am super NERVOUS!!🫣Not sure why I am even nervous tho lol. But we shall see how I doooo…😩I’ll post it inside your FB group when done. I’m getting started this week. Ugh. 😅

So a few things to add: E-6000 actually does have the glue with the precision tips as well. You have to go to the glue or jewelry section in hobby lobby or joann. Its usually in a smaller bottle maybe slightly bigger that the b-7000 you were using in the video. As for the satin material and the fraying, you have to take a lighter (or for some people they use a candle) and seal the edges. if done right there shouldn't be any burnt edges.

OMG! I had to comment on this! My husband and I did this hike at the beginning of this month (Oct 2024). As soon as I saw that you all had not made it to the top yet and it was getting dark, it seriously brought me back there! We are from Florida. It took us forever to make it to the top (because of me, lol). It was like 8:30pm when we made it to the top. I can not believe you all went down Barr Trail!!! My husband and I also tried the trail and turned around after 5 minutes because we had no idea which way to go next! I can't see how people say it is an easy trail. I feel like even with daylight, there are multiple paths you can take and if you take the wrong one, you're going the wrong way! And like you mentioned, if you accidentally fall somewhere where there aren't any guardrails, you might be taking a dangerous fall/drop! We took those steps all the way back down. It was grueling!!! It's a month later and my knees still are not back to 100%. Good job to all of you finishing the hike!!!
