Adam, We alway's used to take the Airport bus from the D/land hotel.On the plaque at the airport is the name of William E. Potter ( Joe). He was the gentleman who Supervised the WDW project. He knew all about water control and drainage if large sites. Good to be back. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Next time you decide not to have a rental car and you stay at Disneyland hotel there is the airport bus that has a stop at the hotel and many others around the area that goes directly from LAX. When my mom was sick with cancer I would commute on the weekends to see her and that was the only way I could get around was to take LAX the airport bus and then the Metrorail to Orange. So keep that in your wheelhouse as it were in the event that you need it.
I am so happy u got to spend such a fantastic vacation with her ..such special memories .. Wish I had the $ to do just that. I never travel anymore cause prices of everything are out of control...but glad when I see others be able to do that..and you are good to your mom which is Class A in my book for sure..I took care of my ill father for 7 yrs before his passing so I know how precious time spent with him was to me ..we traveled alot together up north in Michigan and showed me so much. Miss him still ..lost him 20 yrs ago. ❤

Recently Uber in Australia has gone way downhill with drivers not accepting requests too, or accepting & cancelling frequently. I wonder what's changed.
We meet Adam today in celebration on the off-chance he was there getting a hot caffeinated beverage and he was . He was even nicer in person as well as nice on camera. It really made our holiday 😊😊😊😊
Adam, I have the same issue. Live in Anaheim and when I need an Uber to LAX it takes for ever for Uber or Lyft to accept. I found out you can pre book a ride and that seems to work better. Book it the night before or days before.
Traveling is definitely exhausting and stressful! United first class looked impressive with the movies, seats and captain that gave Gatorland the Happiest Place on Earth love 🤩

Adam it was a real pleasure to meet you at the Universal Hilton a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the hilights of my trip to California. I was too star struck and later remembered all kinds of things to talk to you about after we saw you! We had fun at the Halloween events and we drove back to Canada last week. Its great the way you describe everything… 😂 since you fly a lot, I can help you with some airport terminology.. the vehicle they use to move aircraft around is simply called a “tug”. The walkway to get on and off the aircraft is called a “jet bridge”. The blocks that the ground crew put on the front and back of the wheels are called “chocks”. The ground crew uses “baggage carts” to move the luggage to and from the aircraft. The ground crew personnel that are holding the red wands and walk along with the aircraft are called “wing walkers”. They are there for safety and to make sure the wings are clear of hitting any obstacles.. airports are fascinating, dangerous and a cool place to work!

I flew with United many times from Germany to Florida but with the big machines ^^" . The movie selection is great and the crew is always very nice.
