While waiting for today’s video I looked back at Day 1 “Daily Woo”! You’ve gone from living/traveling in a van, to owning a beautiful home and traveling first class…not too shabby!
Your comment inspired me to check out year 1 of the Daily Woo. It's amazing how the channel has evolved. I only regret not discovering it sooner. Just awesome!
I’m not the best flier. But when I’m in a situation like that - a major delay- I’m just so glad to be on the plane - it’s like yippee. All my nerves are gone.
For me, every time I get a trip out of Denver airport it is a weather mess. June of last year, I was sitting in Denver airport for 6 hours due to tornado weather delay. I will be back in Denver mid June 🙏ing it goes smooth.
I totally understand your frustration Adam. Everytime I fly United it's always something. I had two back to back 17 hour delays on two different trips.
Reminds me of my flight from Orlando to Atlanta on Delta airlines. Was supposed to leave at 5:30 pm and the delay got later and later and later and finally got out at midnight.
Adam, I don't know if you will see this but there is a new rule for Passengers of airlines. The U.S. Department of Transportation announced new aviation rules to protect airline passengers from costly fees and delays. Under new federal rules, airline travelers are now guaranteed an automatic cash refund if a scheduled flight is delayed three or more hours domestically or delayed six hours internationally.
We flew into Denver at the beginning of a blizzard. We ended up being delayed for 3 days IN THE AIRPORT! We could not leave because of the snowy blizzard conditions! We ended up sleeping on the seats of the Golf Cart vehicles. What an experience! Not many food options. The bad part is we were only flying to Colorado Springs (25 minutes south!)
I love to travel, and I have learned to accept flying, something I was not to keen on from watching disaster movies and the Airplane films. That turbulance you hit with you choosing to get that cup of water in the shot. Was A+ and just got me smiling.
Hi Adam so glad you finally made it to Milwaukee safely and I hope you have a great time out there and I look forward to whatever adventures you have up your sleeves again have fun out there now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️
Here's my flight nightmare: We were flying to Hawaii (the Big Island; Kona) out of Chicago. After a good 5 hour flight, we landed in Los Angeles to transfer. We got on the new plane but, about 2 hours into our flight, we had to turn around due to a navigation failure. The plane had to burn off fuel, which took another couple hours, and then we had to land in Phoenix for some reason which took us a good hour inland. In total, that turn around took about 5 hours. And flying out of Phoenix to Hawaii/Kona took about 7 hours. So, at the end of the day we were flying for more than 17 hours. When it came time to fill out the customs declaration form I could barely see straight. I had to do it twice.
I’m a FA ✈️…No doubt that was a horrible long day. One time, I had a 16 hour day ended up in Canada and customs left the airport. We had to wait on the airplane for 5 hours due to weather and until, customs came back to get everyone onto the airplane and get us through customs. Luckily, as a FA ✈️ I carry stickers, and chocolates for the kids and sometimes I give them to Adults 😂 and I carry 2 phone chargers and a small portable fan. I pulled everything out of my bag and gave it to the passengers to keep them comfortable and calm.
Adam... I feel your pain! This past Monday I flew United from Orlando to Denver then to Anchorage, supposed to be a 11 hour total flight. Well, 31 hours later and an unexpected flight from Denver to Chicago then to Anchorage and having my luggage in two different airports at the same time, I finally made it to Anchorage. United is just the worst.....
You sir…..are a saint. I don’t know how you stayed this chill after that fiasco with United. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure per federal regulations the airlines have to compensate you way more than the slap to the face you got when they delay you this long. Especially true when it’s not “an act of God”. I would’ve been a Karen in my own vlog lol
I'll bet you really needed the "Recombobulation Area" once you arrived MKE! Next time if you can't get direct Milwaukee, consider going direct O'Hare instead, then taking either a coach line, a puddlejumper, or Amtrak for the remaining ~1hr trip north. For the lattermost, you wouldn't even have to rent a car...get on the "L" (Blue Line) at O'Hare, ride down the the Clinton Street stop (~45m trip), which is one block away from Union Station. Maybe unglamorous, riding public transit and hauling your luggage that block (and a half to get to the entrance), but might save some time or even some money in the process. Uber works too, I suppose. Six "Hiawatha Service" commuter runs between Chicago & Milwaukee daily, plus the Empire Builder 1/day (midafternoon)
Not sure how much you explored, but Denver airport is huge and somewhat famously weird. There's an art gallery near the front of the terminal, and a kinda creepy underground tram you can take to get from the main terminal to the outer terminals (or you can walk the whole thing.) Down the long wings are all kinds of odd art installations. The famous "demonic horse" is outside the terminal, though.
Omg, what a wait! Did that once in 1996 at SFO with a 2-yr old, will never forget it… Should’ve gone home & tried again the next day, but the many 15 minute delays just draw you in…
Back in 2017, my now fiance Keeli and I flew from Dublin, Ireland to Atlanta, Georgia on an 8-hour delay out of Dublin. Fortunately for us a scheduled layover in Atlanta and a delay in the Atlanta to Denver flight resulted in us getting on the Atlanta-Denver flight on time. It does happen (I've spent two nights in airports). Stay safe Adam.
Adam I am going to tell you about booking a flight going to the midwest. I have flown from upstate NY to Phoenix. I had to switch planes in O'hare. I found if you get to the midwest by 12noon or 1pm you will make it to your destination with no problems By flying in the afternoon to the midwest, you will have flight delays. O'hare even cancelled my flight going to NY because of do called severe lightening which was not true.
WELCOME TO KILWAUKEE!!! So, the actual reason that you were delayed so long, and you got to experience some of that, weather. We had severe weather moving across Iowa and through Wisconsin about the time they kept pushing your flight back. Why that wasn't told to you, who knows. But you've arrived safely and as they say in the airline industry, "Time to spare, go by air."
Not sure if you’ll see this message, but I noticed that you were in Burbank and my uncle and his wife owns the train shack shop. It’s a pretty famous train shop right there in Burbank. They provide a lot of professionally made train sets, and they create them and ship them out but my uncle, his name, Johnny Sirugo he also works for the studios and he does a lot of commercials when they called for some sort of train, set up, like the California scratchers and lotto tickets, he did that commercial using the Lionell train set. He also did a commercial with Christina Aguilera but I think that commercial is only shown in Britain. He’s done a lot of TV show spots where they call for a train set and he set those up as well. He’s also been on the segment of Young Sheldon, the TV show and a lot of other Hollywood movies and he also sets of train sets for universal studios that anyway he’s my dad’s younger brother but you should go in and say hi look around she was even mentioned on the late night show with Jimmy Kimmel, where he gave them a shout out and they actually went to the Train shop and they did a commercial with a famous basketball player, but I forgot his name, but it was a whole skit that they showed on the Jimmy Kimmel show but yeah it’s a pretty famous shop! My name is Natasha so if you’re go in and check it out mention me he’ll know who you’re talking about. The last time I was there was last month, and he actually gave me a gift which was 100th anniversary statue and a Mickey and Minnie on a train car I think it was for the hundredth anniversary. It’s like a limited edition version of and I was in tears. I couldn’t believe he gave it to me. But if you love trains, you’ll love that shop and it’s like 10 minutes from universal studios. It’s called the train shack shop.
Flight delays all across the country due to historic tornado outbreaks across the western midwest and great plains. Really wild videos online capturing this.
This is a big surprise seeing you hanging out on the chilly rainy weather here in Wisconsin .i like Mitchell Field airport i like flying out of that airport .Adam you didn't stay as long as you usually do in California
Your delay in Denver brought back unpleasant memories of a flight I had taken from St. Louis to L.A. Our flight was delayed by only 4 hours due to the original plane being struck by lightning, change in boarding gate and some of the flight crew being late. This happened about over 18 months ago.
We flew from Memphis to Orlando in September of 2015. It was my wife and kids' first time flying. We had a 6 hour delay and we got 200 dollar vouchers per person and the tickets only cost me 163 a piece. So, we got a free flight out of it and got to fly at night. Sometimes, things work out for reasons you can't understand.
So much for puting it out in the universe! 😂😂😂 That Skinny Pop popcorn is a farce! It’s got more calories than most other brands! I actually researched it. I’m a fan of your vids, by the way! Great content! You didn’t say it, so I’ll say it for you . . . “The Vlog Is Over”! ❤❤❤
You have such a hard life. My family literally lost everything in a tornado in Omaha and you're complaining about a layover. You really do think you're the center of the universe.
What I love about living in the Dallas area is that between the two major airports, I can get to just about any location in the US nonstop. Hate layovers!

Can't do anything about delays due to safety issues. The airline workers book you on the replacement flights and you stay overnight in the airport perhaps lying down on the chairs or ground because it would not be worth it to go the long distance into the city to stay at a hotel only to have to come back for an early morning departure. Just grin and bear it.
We were in Birmingham Alabama last Aug and showed up for our 7AM flight only to find out Delta had no flight crew and didn't keave till after 6PM we were supposed to have been home by about 2 in thebafternoon at the latest.
What an extreme test of patience. 🙄 Good for you for keeping your cool. They should have whipped out the backup plane much sooner. And all that turbulence, I get so scared with the turbulence 😖 oh man... I'm glad you arrived safely at least. I hope you're having a lot of fun today 🤞 I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
As a First Class/Business Class Passanger you were due a higher meal allowance that $20 I believe. Plus if the flight was cancelled and they book you on flight the next morning, then the airline should provide accommodation if you are not departing from your home port. I was in this situation once, the shuttle to and from the hotel as well as the accommodation was all paid for by the airline.
last time I flew to New Zealand (from Australia so its a 3-4hr flight) we were delayed by 5hrs. got in a 5am instead of midnite. managed to roll on with my day - cruise boarding - on less then 3hrs sleep. the delay was rough as originally it was 1hr & it was pushed 4 more times. airports get pretty dang boring after 5hrs. the min 2hrs required is hard enough.
Welcome to Milwaukee! Can’t believe one of my fav’s is here in my hometown! 👍 Looking forward to the content through your lens! Btw… That was a crappy delay for sure 🤦♂️
You might see Bob Uecker that played George Owens on Mr Belvedere and Harry Doyle in Major League Movies instead turn on the Rays radio you should tune in the Brewers Radio to hear him and still root for Rays

You deserve every bit of your success. You "Started at the bottom now you're here!"
Because of you Adam Warner Ranch will live on, your vlog of it was awesome.
you should of went around saying "Well better down here, then up there!" casino movie line lol
There is a non-stop flight from LAX to Madison, Wisconsin (MSN) and Chicago, Illinois (ORD).
Both airports are about a 1 hour drive to Milwaukee.
It's closer to 90 minutes
@@rberks5 In light traffic it's closer to 60 minutes to Milwaukee. In rush hour traffic it's closer to 90 minutes.

6:28 they're relocating the terminal. It's already being rebuilt
It's going where that dirt lot is at 9:27 of the video. Where all that construction is
I don't know why but sometimes I prefer watching these laid back travel vlogs. Something relaxing about them.
Have you ever seen the show "Are you being served? from England. You look "exactly like Captain Peacock.

Adam, I'd be so tired after a 6 hour layover. Really enjoyed your video. Sorry your layover was delayed. Can't wait till your next vlog.
I know those delays are stressful, but I'm glad they picked up on the problem when you are safe on the ground.
That bonus airport sandwich would cost $60 in DISNEY to the average punter
I really enjoyed your visit to LA again. My local airport you still walk on the tarmac to walk to the plane.

I thought Mitchell closed between 12:00 AM, and 3:00 am. Enjoy your time in Milwaukee. You are probably going to at least one Brewers Ray's game.
Yes, very hard to find a direct flight to Milwaukee from anywhere.

I don't fly unless i have to , it gives me too much anxiety. Id much rather take a cruise
Wisconsin is a hidden gem along with Michigan's UP.
Adam, that sucks. You have a lot of patience. Hope you get some rest after that.
Burbank has always been my favorite airport. Used it the most.
What a patient man you are Adam. United has not had a good track record as of late. Are you discouraged about using them again in the future?
last time I flew to New Zealand (from Australia so its a 3-4hr flight) we were delayed by 5hrs. got in a 5am instead of midnite. managed to roll on with my day - cruise boarding - on less then 3hrs sleep. the delay was rough as originally it was 1hr & it was pushed 4 more times. airports get pretty dang boring after 5hrs. the min 2hrs required is hard enough.
