Ah okay... I don't remove the rubber that comes with it not until am ready to use them.. The thing is, I have only tasted lettuce when I was in ghana and I buy from the food sellers.. But with the paprika, I just let them be in the package that comes with it.. Anyway thanks for this.
The package preserves it but in Ghana, they don't package it so this is the best way to preserve
