    Wow I just watched your video about this gearbox design, and now I can watch how it works. Thanks for the video.
    Btw, is that a fly wheel (black disk shape near the dc motor at the input shaft)?

    Very nice model indeed. I'm to complete all the parts yet. Before assembly i want to ask you something. How did you take power for yellow motor. Is it from battery or from local electricity network ? Is there any easy explanation how to build the yellow motor assembly ? Thanks...

    okay but does this also work under a force on the output shaft or does it break right away

    Am I wrong or should it be spinning faster as the gears go up and slower as the gears go down? I'm thinking in terms of torque, I'm not super familiar with gears so I may be having a dumb moment.

    i think u might have tweaked the the design.... the first and second gear are the bigger and the second big gears.. but the the third and 4th are different... your 4th is not a direct drive like traditional arrangements.
    but it works

    I am in the assembly stage.I have done several parts twice and I still do not find a perfect fit for the gears. They do not seem to fit inside each other maybe because of my printer. :( still trying. Great design, great video!

      Very late reply, but check that your 3d printed parts have the correct dimensions. I had to fiddle with my printer software settings to get them right.

    if you haven't used bearings then how are the gears on the output shaft rotating freely?

    • @mijailmakaroff9633
      @mijailmakaroff9633  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have a free space between the shaft and the gears, so they can turn freely.

    hi i have a question what do you use as a cable to connect to the motor and what do you connect the cable for power ? sorry for my english i'm french(-:

    • @banovik
      @banovik 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have a similar motor, you will see that on one side of the motor (underneath that clear rubber piece), there is a small strip of brass that sticks out on either side of the rubber piece. Attach a positive wire to one side and a negative wire to the other side. You can solder them on or use little metal clips. Then run 3-6V of power from the positive side to the negative side. If it is backwards, you can reverse the polarity. I hope that helps! (I just figured it all out myself...)

    Hi, really nice model. I'm going to print one, its really cool. Can i ask what did u use for modeling it ? And how long did it take to get fully working ? :D u got really big thumbs up

      Hi thanks! to design it, use Fusion 360, to complete the job you need many hours of 3D printing, between 30 and 50 hours

    How many volts did you use on the motor?

    • @mijailmakaroff9633
      @mijailmakaroff9633  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use 6 to 10 volts although it is not recommended for the motor since it is only 6 volts
