coming into this vid late in preparation for Granblue: Rising -- i love the way you explain + illustrate concepts! the flow of the video (what the corner gives you, how you battle to get there, and what to think about/how to act when you finally get that corner situation) was perfect. hope to see more from you! 🙏
As a beginner, videos like these are very helpful and at the same time a complete joke. I play Ferry and at my best I am ofc doing Ferry things, keeping my opponent away from me etc. OCCASIONALLY doing a set-up etc. and then my opponent literally just runs in, puts me in the zone and I lose the game. And there is no counter play to it. Your ONLY option is blow a bravery point to get them to at least a few steps away from you, but you're still in the zone. You have no buttons to press, everything is positive on block and you just lose.
5:37 Is the 50 meter comment sarcastic or is it a genuinely good idea to use meter to get out of corner? Genuine question cause i got this game early last month
Spending meter on rush/backshift is really something that comes down to personal preference. This player in particular likes to use rush to get out of the corner and they're one of the stronger players in our region. That said, some people will prefer to hang onto it for other things. It really comes down to if you think it's worth the meter to you or if you want to use it for overdrive or something else in the match.
the way you actually visualized the effective range/coner was so smooth. Super easy to understand

Dang Raidhyn, you out here with some good videos!
as a new player, I've felt the power of the corner right away
The corner is probably the strongest most top tierest bustedest character in the game.
you did your videos in a right moment to do it hahahaha
