"I might die in DMC2" is easily the single best joke in this video. Also, the "death" in DMC5's prologue isn't mandatory, cuz you can actually beat Urizen during this encounter. Also x2, what you call Devil Arms are actually called Devil Breakers. This distinction is important because 'Devil Arm' is the umbrella term for all of the various weapons in the series, like Agni&Rudra and Gilgamesh.
By the way, since you're having trouble with Shadows in DMC1, the best way to deal with them is wait for them to shoot a straight spike at you, then jump. Once you successfully stand on top of the spike, keep shooting it with E&I, and it'll be in critical health. Just keep running and dodging till it explodes. This works even in DMD mode.
