This is another interesting video related to steering-wheels with the purpose of informing and arousing the curiosity on how certain 'stitching patterns' are done.
It is possible that pretty soon, I will be introducing a first video-course on 'how to leather-cover a steering-wheel. If somebody is interested, I would advise to start practicing an mastering all of these basics.

maestro mis respetos con ese video aprendi a hacer esas costuras lo importante es la paciencia en algunos momento en la practica se daño el hilo pero corregi el problema era que la aguja estaba muy afilada la puli y le gaste un poco .el filo de la punta y despues quedo perfecto gracias maestro eres. #1 perfection upholstery.
+Baldwin Otero Que bien Baldwin...aveces no se consiguen las agujas de 'punta roma', entonces hay que redondearlas con lijas de metal, primero una de grano mediano y hasta acabar en la lija mas suave...prepara varias, pueden ser de 3 a 31/2 pulg. con un grosor de 1/16"...tambien es bueno tener una 'aguja curva' con la punta desgastada, aveces se usa en ciertas esquinas dificultosas.

Thanks for your videos; much respect for your continued efforts. Could you please tell me how much space needs to be left when you bring the leather on the steering wheel to get a really tight fit? Thanks!
+Gordon Mulcare If you're referring to the edges/seams to be sewn, they should be very close one edge to the other...I consider this a general rule for all of the hand sewings for steering wheels.

I dont have the threaded steering wheel cover my just has holes on both sides would this possible to do?
Of course, it is posssible! But, you would need to do a different pattern...cross, or baseball stitching:

You can hand sew in the stitch along the side or slowly hand roll it through a sewing through a sewing machine might be faster than hand stitching the sides

Para puntadas de beisbol y cruz se usa hilo grueso 207. Para las europeas o de bastilla un hilo 138

AMG is a MBenz car? Are you referring to double/french stitches?

Gracias he visto algunos vídeos en inglés pero veo que ya tiene también en español ! Tengo actualmente una máquina consew rb206 pero aquí en la región centro de México es muy difícil encontrar partes o quien ajuste maquinas, espero Que siga subiendo mas videos saludos!
