- Jaheira confronts the Dark Urge but Gale thinks the player, who accepted being Bhaal's chosen just moments ago, is still redeemable. Maybe it's because I didn't do a full evil path. My Durge campaign was played as a good aligned character most of the time.

God Mystra must have done a number on him to be this co-dependent.
I really kind of feel like that decision was definitely made for the sake of plot necessity rather than holding true to Gale's character. The devs wanted him to be a staple NPC you could have to the end of the game, and they make him put up with a lot more than I think he really would have. The same goes for Wyll and even Karlach to a lesser extent.

Karlach and Wyll leave act one if you make the wrong choice. I'd argue Gale sticks around because he's secretly evil, too. Especially if you push him away from Mystra, he shows his true colors. He's just another Karsus. @@idellius7505

It's a bit ooc for my durge run but I was curious and damn it hurt when he went all 'I can fix her', convinced Gale not to go for the crown only for Papa Bhaal to say get that crown Queen and slay. I much prefer the other option more befitting of the run I've been doing.

Its not. There is only one successful resolution, you must forfeit Bhaal

This ending ties your fate with your father Bhaal. The only endings possible from this path are take control of the Absolute in his name or destroy it. Once you destroy, you are given one last chance to kill yourself as a final act of defiance to Bhaal; If not, then you're unable to fight his will and the dark urge takes complete control over you.
I don’t know, I became a mindflayer and left with laezel to start a revolution, having no soul and being on the astral plane might’ve revoked by chosen status

So, if she was at the throne of bhaal, that means she should be about level 30, and could crush anyone short of a demigod with one hand tied behind her back. But i guess we've forgotten about the previous games.
Yea, kinda sucks but from a balance point, there's no way they'd let you get 2 level 30s.
DND5 doesn't allow PCs to get levels above 20. Level 20 heroes already decide fates of countries if not entire world.
@TovKafur bg2: The Throne of Bhaal did, including specific new rules. That used 2nd edition. But it's jarring for her, Minsc, and Viconia to suddenly be yeoman adventurer level again, which is my point.
@@TovKafurmate play throne of Bhaal and you'll understand why your party goes beyond the level cap. It's part of the game's narrative, only the gods themselves are able to stop your party by that point

Of course. She spent a long time adventuring with a ball spawn 100 years ago, lost her husband through that ordeal, and apparently that bhaal spawn did tried to ascend. It its more than courteous enough that she take some to talk

@@flithbrin Hm? You can have both Halsin and Jaheira in your camp.
@@yhposolihP maybe it has to do with choices you made? It made me pick which one of them I wanted. I had a one dialogue option for halsin to join and another dialogue for Jaheira to join, but the one for Jaheira to join went away after I did the one for halsin to join, then I didn't get halsin but I did get Jaheira.
@@flithbrinyou messed something up somewhere my friend. If you do all of Halsin's quest in act 2, and successfully cure the shadow curse, he will join you. Then you can gain Jaheira as a follower right after the first phase with Ketheric Thorm. You need to talk to both of them after the boss fight in Moonrise's first floor to confirm their alliance, but that is pretty par for the course. Then when the emperor talks to you about allies, you can say you already have some, and he will mention both but say there are still some to be found (Minsc mainly)
