Awesome sauce in every beat of every bar. And I always felt that the use of contrast in every aspect of the music, was one of the most fascinating things in Dirty Loops music. Here it’s explained, and omg, the detail. “That kinda candy stuff that you need when you’re making music…it doesn’t matter if anyone hears it, it’s just for you….” I didn’t pick it up consciously, but man, I felt it all…. Thanks for this, Jonah.

What an amazing surprise this was! Thank you so much! I LOVE "behind the music" insight. I can't always auditorily process the individual sounds going on initially when I hear a full song, probably because I'm preoccupied with picking my jaw up off the floor at what I'm hearing, but once they're pointed out, I can never unhear them & I LOVE that!
Thanks for your music, Jonah. It makes my life happier! I feel so fortunate to be living in a time where the music of my musical heroes (Brian Wilson, Dirty Loops, & most recently Jacob Collier) is accessible anytime. It is obvious that you give all of yourselves when you create music. I am so grateful & honored to hear it.

Now that is a LARGE project... consisting of 3 other large projects (drums, vocal, rest stuff) 😎 how cool is this! Thank you so much for this interesting breakdown... it shows again how much effort goes into a 3 minute-long song!

This was an excellent tutorial! Thank you for letting us in on your process, Jonah. I do realize that every loop and every voicing and timbre are essential in creating the Dirty Loops arrangements, but your harmonic choices are also the characteristic that intrigues me, and keep me coming back for more. (Well that, and your spectacular mates on bass and set!) When the three of you are together, it is magical! Love and hugs to Aron and Henrik and you. Mwah 😘

Truly highly involving and extremely well worked out in a highly involved manner. Let’s common people know how in-depth and thought out music must be a linear motion. Stacking and layering is a art form all in its own.

Very cool. I am late to the Dirty Loops train, but I love you guys! Amazing music. Your vocals and piano work are awesome! I'm a 63-year-old guitar player who loves funk and progressive music. The eclectic mix of genres together I find fascinating and ear candy. You are the funky Polyphia, another group that creates music with a variety of different genres, except in progressive rock music. I have purchased all of your stuff and love it all, keep it up! Rock You! 😉
