@@vonzox henrik was in few videos from scott’s bass lesson since last year. Scott’s channel is all about bassist but not very similar to pianote and drumeo contents. But he do similar videos sometimes where other bassist listen to unfamiliar songs for the first time etc etc. You can check it out 🙂
It's literally unbelievable to see him doing all those complicated 16th rhythms like he cooks his daily breakfast, not to mention the beautiful one-and-only harmonazations of them
What a treat to see Jonah playing his keys track in isolation… The mix of styles, the damn funky rhythm playing, it’s just pure fire!! Thanks pianote and Jonah! 🙏🙏
I am madly in love with this man. Such extraordinary talent, skill and inspiration. Seems like a genuinely kind person too with a silly sense of humor. And easy on the eyes! 😉
I actually got the idea from that part that he was very embarrassed to sit there listening to himself doing that mile-long run while people are looking at him. Mind you, he'd have every right to sit there with a smug look instead -- because that run IS absolutely disgusting (in the best way).
@@marannebbeling9799also a valid interpretation. Like "what's the purpose?" In a humble attitude. But he knows he's good. I also just wanted to see sim again doing this run.
Brilliant video. The keys in DL are such a cool element. This shows how funkiness can be achieved with just a few simple parts interacting together. The rhythmic choices are simple /sparse. However of course you will need a lot of harmonic knowledge to even come up with those chords and voicings in the first place. Now sing like Michael Jackson while doing all that, and you may be Jonah Nilson 🤩
@@cdanielpetersson…at least until recently. They’ve released their very latest single, ‘Run Away’, without a mention of Quincy Jones. So I’m not sure where they’re at-.
Just for the record Jonah ( despite being in chorus at is youth) it's a pianist by formation ! Vocals come lately when forming DL " as an extension of it's art " . Go figure 😮
Can we all just agree that this guy is a legend 💯
If Jonah is at Pianote, that can only mean one thing… that Aaron is there too, and getting ready for a video with Drumeo!
This most likely happened during their US tour in March - April. So it’s possible they did something for Aron back in April
Yes!!!
Oh man I am hoping also that Drumeo will have Aaron as well.
And Henrik where is he...?😁😎

Amazing keyboard player...doing the greatest vocal run of all time:)
Favourite track of theirs ❤️
This track will never get old!
Lost in you by them is incredible too
If you get the chance to see them live, DO IT! Incredible performances
They are all so incredible!! 10/10
Saw them in Montreal! They slapped… literally and figuratively lol
Saw them in LA. Freaken blew everyone’s mind!
Seeing them in show is incredible. I saw them live in SF and it blows my mind how they sound even better.
I have tickets for the London gig next March 🎉
The closest thing to a vacation for Jonah was shredding that keyboard part without having to rip through that crazy vocal part simultaneously.
I hope this series of Jonah Nilsson appearances never stops
So unlike a boring pop song!! Especially like the soft thing at 1:05 I the video.

Jonah is always amazing. Never been anyone anywhere who can sing AND play with creativity & positive energy. Kinda like a Hendrix on keys.

3:06 Amazing to see him himself amazed at his own vocal ability

Whether people realize it or not, we’re watching one of the greatest musicians of all time.

On a totally different level... or should I say universe?

Dudes already this generations Keith Emerson and he's got that voice
💙💛
What a trio ❣️ Don’t know if David Foster is still producing them . I have their first before they were really known.
Quincy Jones is their manager now.

another level ! is he IA . ?
Jonah and Jordan Rudess should meet..they would make history in piano/keyboard music together.. uncomparable !!!
Jordan plays a solo on Jonah's solo album, on a cover of Bad by MJ.
Thx
It sounds like a Mario Kart Soundtrack 😊
He just looks like the piano player now, but thats him singing aswell. I know everyone knows but thats a crazy flex
Extreme ...
This is EU Stevie Wonder 🤣 Amazing
the concentration on his face says it all
Best hidden kronos plug ever :D
Give the guy a switch pedal 😁
Freakin awesome!!!!
nifty chord progressions
What are the sythetic sounds he rythms in called?
When you’re a star….
I want to know the patches he used and how he created them.
hahahahahahaha, this dude is just so bad ass, it's silly.
3:06 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sandman from Spider-Man absolutely killed this song 🫶🏼💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please the chord I want to see is just 1:09. At least for a start.
I think it’s a F#\Bm
It's C#/A, or Amaj7/#5 if you prefer
I’m hearing C# in the left hand and ADEA in the right hand, so the chord is like a DMadd2no3/C#
If such a chord name could exist
I'm surprised he doesn't use a switch pedal for program change.
please have Cory Henry in your videos!🙏

He looks like a younger and more handsome Dave Grohl
Why didnt you show the top view the whole video? We want to see what he is playing!
waaaaa
I guess it's because you have to pay and subscribe in order to have the full score
Maybe I have compositions that might interest you. ❤🎉😅
This should be turned into a piano tutorial on reharmonization of a diatonic melody.

Why is there a light up keyboard when the keyboard is only shown randomly and sporadically. Can you just overlay the keyboard on the bottom?
