i got damon braces today but my dentist still wants to pull 4 of my teeth in the next few weeks. i am confused
Dang, didn't he inform you beforehand, about the extractions? I've been to 2 orthodontists and they also said they need to pull 4 of my teeth out 😢
So that's why I don't feel any pain even tho I had my Damon braces like 15 days ago I think it's all good then 👍
I got mine about 15 days ago as well. No pain medicine or wax used yet
I got mine exactly 15 days ago. No pain at all. I’ve used the wax a few times because I’m still eating everything lol.
Lmao the first months my mouth was hurting so bad I could barely eat. Felt like Mike Taison punched me

Damon braces are pretty nice but sometimes when the wire doesn't fully fit and the ortho has to push it in it so hard hurts like a bih 😭😭

@@pr3ttysus922 Its worth. I have very sensitive teeth and I would feel a pain sting every time the doctors has to push it in. But its like 2 minutes of discomfort every month with the payoff being of course pretty, aligned and cleaner teeth. 10/10 would do it again

I had adult treatment, & required a palette expander (for a severe crossbite).
I wasn't even offered Damon braces.
Just conventional metal after my expander treatment was accomplished.
So is this because my orthodontic problem was too advanced/severe to be fixed with self-litigating braces?
For example I required a slow, long-term treatment to fully correct the crossbite, and my orthodontist didn't want to rush anything.
Just interested in if there would have been any difference between the two...
Wt about pitts 21 braces?? My midline diastema is increasing evn after my 1st ortho treatment which was done 5 years back wer i had put the normal braces . can i go for Damon or pitts 21 now so that after the treatmentmy diastema will never increase ?
My orthodontist didn't ask if I want traditional braces or damon braces so I got traditional. But now I want damon instead, is there a way I can change from traditional to damon?

@@cottoncandace7704 hmm. That was the same for me. I have damon braces on now. I initially chose this to avoid extraction. But doctor said that extraction can be avoided only if ur state of tooth is not that worse.

Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "leather ligature alto sax make it better" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Fiyrace Beyogan Formula - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got cool success with it.

you can! I just got my braces on, but they didn’t put color on so my teeth could adjust, but at my next appointment I will be getting some color. :)

Hey, Would you say get Damon braces if you need extractions but if you don't get the traditional braces? I have minor crowding and a overjet and slight overbite. I don't need extractions.
I have a protrusion with no crowdings , and also i already extracted my 4 wisdom teeth, so i guess i have enough space but im in a dilemma cuz i went to two orthodentists one told me i need to extract my 4 premolars and the other told me i shouldnt extract.
@@lenalee5516 I believe your wisdom teeth would to be extracted at point or another. I wouldn't get any other teeth extracted.
Yesterday(December 8th,2020)I got Damon Braces put on.I can’t wait for my treatment to be done and see the the results.

@@sandeepraj7157 Well surprisingly it didn't hurt when they put on Damon braces,you just feel pressure. After your braces are put on your teeth hurt when you try to eat solid foods,it took me about a week with eating soft foods till my teeth got use to braces.Also when ever you see your orthodontist to replace the old wires with thicker wires,You might eat soft foods to.Since it has been about 2 and 1/2 months,I can see a difference. Even my friend told me she can see a difference with my bottom teeth. My friend told me that braces actually work,It was good investment.
I got damon braces too ,2 days ago , there is no pain at all when the dctr put in on , and now i feel a bit of pain , mybe it bcause of my teeth's progress , very excited to see my results when my treatment done ..

Hey I got my premolars extracted for braces and I just wish I didn’t is there a way I can get them back like implants
What was the reason for extraction? Crowding? Spacing?

There are ways to do reversals but that would include the need for implants...is that a path you want to go down?

I just got my damon braces and i have seen such a drastic difference in my smile! Ive gotten moved to wesring heavy bands already to fix my underbite for no extractions! Damon braces are less painful and work at a faster pace !

@@tripplec7661 I got Damon braces like yesterday, it’s less painful than traditional as all of my friend that had traditional were screaming that it hurts but in reality Damon braces only hurt when u chew or like when you touch certain teeth
