- #shorts: By the current latest power BI desktop version at time for the video creation. The order of columns which was done in Edit Query phase but not applied in Data View. This short video took some references from google searched results, and shares one workaround to make the change happened in data view according to the order arranged in query editor.
my notes from my testing of the method:
- Please save your pbix file before applying the workaround,
-Please try to apply the workaround before creations of visualizations and measures as the data table related visualizations or measures which involve the date hierarchy might be affected and date might need re-formatted again.

You are the man!! Worked like a charm
Thank you. I cannot believe how much pain I endured while trying to figure this issue. Microsoft is truly sadistic.
Great tip, thanks
Thanks for the crisp explanation Mike.
🚫It fixed my column ordering...but BEWARE, all my measures, groupings of fields, and field folders disappeared. Luckily, I didn't save my PBIX and was able to recover.
Yeah. I have highlighted this notes in my video since slot 0:33 and also in my video description before. "Please try to apply the workaround before creations of visualizations and measures as the data table related visualizations or measures which involve the date hierarchy might be affected and date might need re-formatted again. "

Thank you so much...it worked for me
Exactly what I needed!!!🥰
Great Job Brother Great Job !!!
How to know where the error is, when we have so many columns and rows? Is there a way to find the errors without navigating the query?
Thanks a lot brother...
I tried this and the column order changed in the table view but not in the data pane. Any other suggestion for this?
Hi, thanks for the comments. Yes we have. Let me test and come back to you...
