It's cool but an overkill. All you need is 4 infrared sensors - you arrange them in a square grid and separate with a cross shaped divider high enough to partially obstruct at least one of the sensors unless the whole thing is aimed exactly at the middle of the infrared spectrum emitter. Congratulations, you've just effectively built yourself a grid-eye sensor. You then control the motors with signals from each infrared sensor. No digital circuits needed. Signal from the most exposed sensor is the strongest and will always win until the whole sensor grid reaches an equilibrium, i.e. aims at your target.
@@maker101io can you make a video on motion sensing animatronic robot head with pir sensor? Which can look around, blink it's eyes and detect the position of any object in front of it. But raspberry pi is too difficult for me, so I would prefer arduino. I'm planning to make a robot head which is only operated with servo and the eyes will be made of led matrix. But that would be just a toy. :( So I would like to request you to make a arduino based animatronic robot head if possible. Thanks ☺️
Hello, do you know if it is possible to track Hornets in open-field ( OpenCV, RPi4, fixed HD camera, but laser moving) ? I'm not a developper and I desperate to do better than just detecting basic objects. Hornets are fast stuffs
@@woolfy02 hello, unfortunately speed requires many computing and really fast motors or laser piloted by mirrors. The theory was here but not the precision. My 5 watts laser was way too dangerous to be piloted in open space. So I stopped this too technical and ambitious project. Thank you for asking
can you explain to me how can a camera track a person? don´t you need to use a motion sensor, for example, a PIR motion sensor to detect the person and then using that data and hit the target with the laser (gun)
Speed can be increased by using threading for video streaming and skipping few frame per second ..also if you had use pi camera it would give you approximately 49 to 60 frame per second
Hi Dear Abdul, Which camera is good for this system? If I increase the frame per second it is good or bad? Which camera do you suggest? Pi camera or logitech camera. And why the system is working slowly? If I want to obtain a superfast recognition what should I do? Best Regards
Great idea, but how durable is it to use glue to hold everything, and those little plastic straps to spin around? At best, this is for inside, not outside use.
meh... using python to do realtime (fast) operations is like wiping your b*tt with sandpaper - but then again, the dude makes stuff with hot glue and cardboard, what would I expect?

Sir I am Indian
Very nice work
great work, many thanks
Brao man brao what a fantastic and incredibale idea i am very impresse
Jesus, me owning a CNC Laser, i could never imagine working like that XD but well done ;-)
great , could u make it for kill the flys , bug with powerfull laser ?
It would have been so cool if you had explained the "zeroing" algorithm or the calibration of the system.
I think he didn't write the code himself, but just downloaded it somewhere! 🤷🏻♂️
You have a lot of knowledge bro.....super 🤝thnq bro✌
This I want from you Mert AWESOME, when you're coming India you said you came here once

Go for it dog, I'm low-key interested seeing this happen
We're you able to build it?

AI. the machine knows what the target is supposed to look like and aims at it
Great
Ah never mind, I just saw the whole video. Nice start though, can improve from here.
Me gustan mucho tus videos...saludos desde Colombia...👍👍👍
Which os u have installed on ur raspberey
Yaratıcı 👍🏼
Not sure if I am overlooking it but I do not see a link for the stepper motors. I have been unable to find a match for OK42STH33.
Çok güzel olmuş
Can I use Arduino?
Tek kelimeyle mükemmel 👍
actually could u please tell that which stepper motor is Y axis and which is X because in diagram u have mentioned them by 1 and 2.....
which version of python did you used.....please reply
Wow very nice video love it and please amke a video on selecting target by camera not by motion detection sensor just like jet plane use
Would it work with a thermal camera?
well is there a reason for delayed rsponse from the turret......if yes, then what is it, could anyone please tell
Can u do this with Arduino
What is the cost for this project
Give link about stepper motor
If you r interested ,I want to buy this project.
What is the range
I can use 8GB SD card ??
Nice for you
Woww
not that fast you are using ekf?
Can u please explain how the target gets destroyed

Just make like 20 of these things at different locations. One of them will hit the target, ;)
It Seems to react very slow and not very accurate!🤷🏻♂️😐
It causes excruciating pain to watch this.
