Why did you use two power sources for the two servos ? (Are the power sources not powerful enough for a parallel circuit ?) Same question for the laser, but it is understandable if you want to separate the motors from the laser. Btw a great video and a funny one on top of that.
Thanks my dude, and yeah it would be great if I could use one power source to feed both servos, but mine are fairly weak since I got the cheapest ones possible.
My laser diodes overheat when I run it off a 12v 1a powersupply... I was hoping to be able to run it all off one plug. Ive got the whole thing in series, if I run it in parallel will it overheat less?
@@juliantrueman6542 Read a little about serial vs parallel circuits - in series, you are essentially lowering the voltage across each component and that's not what you want. You want everything to run from clean 12 Volts (if your servos and lasers are 12V even, I'd assume they're 5V) and by wiring it in parallel you achieve just that while drawing more current - that's why you need to make sure you have a powerful enough power source to provide that current - Amps. (I'd recommend 3A and you should be good). Hope this helps
