The comment from the reviewer you quoted, who said that OSG 'is run like a business' , and about stopping spending money on furniture and looking flash, was very interesting! Your comments too about the school furniture being purchased through the Hales company is so interesting and shocking too. I'm intrigued to hear more of what you suggested is information to come about the Brethren being made to buy computers that also are financially connected to the Hales family. Suspicious....
Super bizarre about money going missing that students raised while at the school. Would be so good to know more about that - really odd.

Wow, so fascinating.
The anti-bullying programme made me laugh - when I was 15 in the Brethren school (when it was called Westmount in NZ) there was a significant problem with bullying, graffiti, and such bad behaviour by the Brethren kids on the bus (driven by a worldly bus driver) to the towns further away that we went through a few drivers. As a result me, being the nerdy person I was, began a programme called WAVE (Westmount Anti-Vandalism Effort) 🤣 that did things like rubbish pick ups, peer mentoring, and cheerful reminder posters (done on typewriters of course) about being kind to each other 😅

Re. the shutting up of the young woman/group who had set up a Facebook profile; I found this very distressing to think of that poor young woman being treated in that way. To be confined socially, spiritually, and psychologically in that way is incredibly destructive in every way. I wonder where that young woman is now and I hope she is okay. She obviously had a bright, curious and unrepressed side of her that was quashed. It breaks my heart.
Re. rugby - that was interested to hear it was banned. I think it was banned at school too, however myself and my friends would play bullrush every night in the church carpark at the nightly meetings! I looved bullrush and it's more brutal than rugby! :-)
