    I'm from Bmore but live in NYC. I grew up with pigtails and sauerkraut for Thanksgiving and am finally making it myself this year because I won't be down for the holiday. Can't wait to try your recipe. Just listening to your voice felt like home!

    My uncle use to make this for the holidays 🎉 until he passed 😢. I saw pigtails in the market and was feeling nostalgic about my family and upbringing in Baltimore. I decided to make them for the upcoming holidays ❤. Glad l found your recipe. Thanks for sharing.

    I do my Sauerkraut & Pigtails with a pressure cooker. 45 min. and it's done. the pressure cooker infuses all of the flavor too. That's how my Mom used to make it. Nice job!

I am a new subbie here, and I enjoyed your video with Kraut and pigtails I had just made or uploaded a video on kraut and pig tails I live in Alabama and my girlfriend from Baltimore talks about this meal all the time.     Hello, I am going to try this recipe tonight. I missed the part on how you cleaned your tails. My mom used to pot bowl 15 -20 min and poured off the stuff and started a new pot.

      Yes, my Aunt used to do that. I just rinse and brown mine at the bottom of the pot then add liquid

    That juice is too good to throw out.
    Why bother using kraut if you are going to wash away all the flavor? Just use shredded cabbage next time.
