Gotta love the application of Worcestershire sauce,, "..not a whole lot, just a tablespoon..." LOL, MIke, you must have REALLY big tablespoons at your place pard' ; - ) But it did come out lookin' mighty tasty!

I have cooked bacon bits so I added that instead, and instead of kielbasa I did German knackwurst after I warmed my kraut and onion in a tblspoon of butter… mmmm yummm. I had never tried kraut with Worcester, thanks!
2 things Mike, 1 I've never had onion mixed with my sauerkraut but that's coming soon and 2 I could sure stand a bowl of that right now..... And you know I'll have a chunk of cornbread to go with it......Thanks for sharing brother.....

Enjoyed the video but what I'm noticing is that folks are very particular in how they make sauerkraut and sausage. I never drain or rinse my kraut. That juice is precious, gotta have it! lol I also need tomatoes in my kraut/sausage. Just what you were raised with I guess.

Hey Bill yeah this kraut is great on hot dogs too. You could leave the kielbasa long and put it on a roll with it too. I found that I like sauerkraut best this way. Thanks for watching my friend
That was a staple in our house growing up. And if mom didn’t have Kielbasa, she would cut up wienies. It would be the main dish most of the time. I loved it. Haven’t had any in years. Think I’ll make me some. Great cook my friend.

in the netherlands we mix it with mashed potatoes. then eat it with smoked sausage and some good gravy. winter comfort food :).
