did anyone catch this ? in the beginning of the fight: Michael Jai White and Matt Mullins fought randomly that's until Matt Mullins caught Michael with a spinning air kick. and at that moment Michael figured out Matts weakness MATT WAS ONLY DEFENDING HIS LEFT SIDE, AND KEPT HIS RIGHT SIDE WIDE OPEN FOR AN ATTACK !!! The only question that is left: how come Michael was able to read this ? was Matt injured ? was he physically weak on the right side ? Note: Keep in mind, I'm asking these questions within the context of the film. I'm asking about the nature of the characters within the film. whats so fascinating about this film, is that this is the only Martial Arts film where you see tactics, game-plan, strategy every little detail within the realm of martial arts was played out in this film as if it were a chess game.
Mayssan Haddad They made the movie specifically with that in mind. One reason why its a personal favorite martial arts movie of mine. Remember that he plays chess with the old man.. it's to later highlight how all of his thought process play out like chess all the way to his ultimate goal of getting revenge and helping the surviving members of his friends family.
Incredible and beautiful fight scene to watch. It's next to real and authentic. Most Hollywood movies use computers to make the fight scenes to be super speed that as the word suggests, they're superficial. There's got to be an element of authenticity and this scene delivers that...
Truth is Mullins would most likely mop the floor with most people dude is a legit bad ass 4th degree black belt! Yes this is a fake fight scene for a movie but the 5 championships he won first one at 15 wasn’t! He is what we call a tooth chipper!
I know this is a movie, but both of these guys would put a serious beating on normal folks. Both are black belts in different arts, and they had to AMAZINGLY slow their attacks down for this movie so you could see their strikes.
What's great about this scene is most of the fights in this film are focused on brute force. MJW takes on huge burly opponents and that's all fun and awesome too. But here.. this fight is where he shows his finesse. This fight is far more about thinking and he doesn't win the fight by strength or even skill but he wins by out-thinking his opponent and with a couple of VERY clever misdirects he gets the upper hand in the fight.

Underrated movie, need to watch it again. I love how Michael's character is basically Kazama Kiryu.
Tell me the name of the movie please
@@BANDOTA Blood and Bone, unless you're asking about Kiryu who's the protagonist of the Yakuza series of videogames.
Obviously it’s choreographed but how MJW moves like that while being that big is insane
I reckon it has alot to do with how shredded he is. It's not like he's fat, he's built like an athlete.
The dude is a real martial artist (Karate Kyokushinkai, killer stuff), not just a buff guy
@@geraltofrivia9424 doesn’t make it any less impressive
@@GgCashh451 Lol you didn't understand my point
@@geraltofrivia9424 I completely understand. again it doesn’t make it any less impressive
Jax Vs Johnny Cage
2:49 this move was fire no cap and the leg combo he did was hard
That scene was so well done on so many levels.
2:05 that combo kick, the second kick was faked to the head, which drew the guard, and boom, gut, head, such a sweet move that totally went unnoticed until slowed down, so much technical skill going on here, But Itachi vs Sasuke still my favorite fight scene
At least this isn’t fictional though.
You know I am still watching MJW fight movies. My childhood inspiration!!!
did anyone catch this ?
in the beginning of the fight: Michael Jai White and Matt Mullins fought randomly
that's until Matt Mullins caught Michael with a spinning air kick.
and at that moment Michael figured out Matts weakness
MATT WAS ONLY DEFENDING HIS LEFT SIDE, AND KEPT HIS RIGHT SIDE
WIDE OPEN FOR AN ATTACK !!!
The only question that is left: how come Michael was able to read this ?
was Matt injured ? was he physically weak on the right side ?
Note: Keep in mind, I'm asking these questions within the context of the film.
I'm asking about the nature of the characters within the film.
whats so fascinating about this film, is that this is the only Martial Arts film
where you see tactics, game-plan, strategy
every little detail within the realm of martial arts was played out in this film as if it were a chess game.
Everything except blood..
best michael jai white movie, great read too on the technical aspect. i wish this has a sequel. feels like "the vanishing son" type but movie
You never seen IP man then clearly!
Guess you haven’t watched Bruce Lee movies
Matt Mullins held his own in this fight. Brilliant and fluid fighting from both of them.
Till he got cocky and pointed at his chin, bad move.
He did until he took off his jacket & began acting cocky. That was when the fight turn into Bones favor.
1:54 CANT STOP LAUGHING
RIP Mr. Robert Wall AKA "O'Hara" in "Blood and Bone"and "Enter the Dragon"
Mighta got his ass beat this scene, but Matt Mullins' form is something to behold.
And that 4 kick combo from MJW - in...credible
The foot work Michael displayed at 2:06 and at 2:19 is absolutely the best I have seen
Quad kick : Hold my beer
@1:28 isn't him tho, he can't kip up
One of the greatest fight scenes of all time
Incredible and beautiful fight scene to watch. It's next to real and authentic. Most Hollywood movies use computers to make the fight scenes to be super speed that as the word suggests, they're superficial. There's got to be an element of authenticity and this scene delivers that...
I like it when he beat that guy. Because that guy act over confident.
he humbled the shit out of him too. 💀
He’s twice the size of that guy he beat
Choreographed bullshit fight with no other intention than to Elevate the black guy! ,,,,,,,give me a break
Truth is Mullins would most likely mop the floor with most people dude is a legit bad ass 4th degree black belt! Yes this is a fake fight scene for a movie but the 5 championships he won first one at 15 wasn’t! He is what we call a tooth chipper!
Lol that’s just your ego talking
Jesus, even choreographed, that is an incredibly impressive display.`
Benj-Va, I like when Jai kicked Matt's support leg out from under him b4 he got full rotation on his lead leg kick!
"Because it's choreographed"
@@alg3rn0n73 wait till he hears that all fight scenes are choreographed

I read the comment numerous times to see if I was misunderstanding it lol
I agree very real life reproduction of two men with similar fighting skills though one is ultimately superior
Nicely done, both of them were very skilled
I love mat Mullins, style,, his Combat Taekwondo skill,, I preferd Taekwondo,, than the Wing Chun Kung Fu,, that's all,, ☺️😀
2:19 this was just epic, we need more fight moments like this in film
I know this is a movie, but both of these guys would put a serious beating on normal folks. Both are black belts in different arts, and they had to AMAZINGLY slow their attacks down for this movie so you could see their strikes.
Matt X I'd kick both of their asses.
Ekis
Also, they both pulled this off while wearing Timbs and dress shoes.
If Mullins' character couldn't beat him, imagine a regular guy taking on MJW
False. Artists like Bruce Lee had to do this back in the day but nowadays it’s just not true at all.
I can watch these two fight all day. Very beautiful fight choreography
Michael beat him like he stole something. I love it, I get so excited watching this . The double Kip up was 👏🏿 awesome.
2:15 Matt looks like "Shit... I wonder if I'll still get paid after this."
lmao
Matt Mullins is a black belt he'd whoop your ass buddy.
Just a movie damn
I was halfway through the fight before I realized MJW never took off his timbs. That's a credit to the talent of both men.
0:05 that's gotta be one of the funniest parts of the movie
Man Micheal jai white is unharmed undefeated legendary fighter Big fan of you Brotha....!
No he won because hes the maim character
I dont think theres a scarier thought than imagining that this was the dude your girlfriend told you not to worry about...
🤣 If I walk up and see him....then she is for the streets! Lol
Этот ШОКОЛАД, такой великий Боевик, А Уш рыцарь-благородство-БЕЖИТ В ПЕРЕДИ ВСЕХ❤😘
