If we can get enough views on this video I will do a fight breakdown with behind the scenes footage of how we came up with this fight together. It was super fun making this fight scene.

After seeing other people's comments I decided to check and Chris's movements made much more sense. His karate blocks were closer to the body than Goju Ryu or Shotokan and felt more akin to Wing Chun, even when the form is flawless. His delivery is excellent and I honestly cant imagine how many takes it took to perform the flying kick takedown.
    Great job. Simply great.

@@SifuChrisCollins Holy, just three takes. That's amazing. It goes to show how good martial artists are on picking up timing for the technique and proper form, because the position of the back leg is pretty much text book.

This fight scene to me speaks volumes on the fact that no style is perfect. It really boils down to the person using their art. Every style has weak and strong points but it's up to the person to compromise the weak points and maximize the strengths. Beautifully done.

Tbf, if you're looking for an effective fighting style, no style of karate or wing chun will be effective. There's good reasons for why people fight in actual full contact matches don't use either, and it's not because it's "too deadly".

Pure karate and especially pure wing chun isn’t usually effective, but having a base in either and filling in the weak spots with techniques from other disciplines can make for a very effective fighter, they may need to use exceptional movement and timing which may not be able to be developed by the average person though
