If we can get enough views on this video I will do a fight breakdown with behind the scenes footage of how we came up with this fight together. It was super fun making this fight scene.

Thank you for being part of this awesome movie, Mr. Collins :))
Thank you sir
Sifu Collins this was just beautiful the on screen choreography was stunning between you and Donnie Yen😊
Its not soft its sensai collins sifu is used for wing chun or chinease masters
All the fight scenes in Ipman series are great, this was definitely one of the best. Congratulations to both actors and great kung fu masters.
My favourite scene is the fight against Master Law. That’s so funny!!! Haha 😂
Master law could be "Why is stage so small?" 😂😂😂
and in the reality, master law's actor probably is the strongest amongs them
😂😂😂😂😂😂🥸poor master law 😂😂😂😂😂
Master Law is always making excuses. Table is slippery, stage is too small 😂

You reminded me of Paul Phoenix from Tekken - being the forceful American with brash unapologetic style. I love it!
MERIKA 💥💥💥👍🏼
Those punch barrages were very fast and accurate. Love that from Ip Man.
I hated it 😂😂😂
@@SifuChrisCollins my deepest condolences man 🙏🏻
🤣🤣🤣
@@SifuChrisCollins I wonder how painful those punches would be in real life.
Producers - hey Chris, we see your wing Chun is really good. Wanna be in an IP Man movie?
Chris - hell yeah I do
Producers - ok you'll be playing a karate guy
Chris - but I do wing Chun
Producers - we already got a guy for that.
Chris - you want me, a wing Chun guy, to do a movie about a wing Chun master, but I play a karate guy.
Producers - yes
Chris - ......................ok
😂😂😂😂pretty much it
Would have to be dumb to turn down an opportunity like that lol
Always loved the Ip Man series. So glad Chris Collins and Donnie Yen got to work together, such skill and dedication to what they do.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏🏼
Call jesus. Needs
What I love about it is that Donnie Yen got to film with several martial arts actors too. Like Scott Adkins and Mike Tyson which was very cool
@@ASIANKID_DAOG12Mike Tyson isn’t a martial artist he’s a boxer…

I love that master Law always blames the stage after getting his ass beat dominantly, but at least he's always willing to fight first lol
From slippery table to small stage hahahaha
Master Law best comic relief 🤣🤣🤣

And he’s allways loosing 😂😂

Yo Chris your video hit 18 million 😮 sheesh !!! Good work
Amazing
I'm not a martial artist but it looks to me as if Mr. Collins and Mr. Yen are very skilled. Mr Collins looks like too much of a nice guy to be a villian. This was a delight to watch. Thank you
Thanks. I Hope i can play the good guy one day 😊
Donnie Yen, who'd co-acted with Wu Jing (aka Jacky Wu) in 'Kill Zone', both came from martial arts families. Donnie's mother Mark Bow-sim is a martial arts grandmaster & has a martial arts training school in the US. As small kids, Donnie & his sister Chris Yen learnt martial arts from their mother. Bow-sim is now semi-retired & her daughter Chris & a senior disciple took over the training. Donnie's parents sent him to train with the world-renowned Beijing Wushu Team when he was 16, where he met Jet Li who also trained there. After that, he went to Hong Kong & trained under Yuen Woo-ping who's the eldest son of the late Yuen Siu-tien. Siu-tien was one of the top 10 greatest martial artists of his time. Jackie Chan catapulted to international fame after co-acting with Siu-tien in the 1978 classic movie 'Drunken Master' which was directed by Woo-ping. Woo-ping was also involved in some Hollywood productions in which he choreographed the fight scenes.
Some of the most amazingly well choreographed fight sequences in this series of movies! Love all of them!
Agree with u bro ..
Thank you for the childhood memory. I loved this scene so much! With the fighting between two martial arts and the choreography it just made the scene that much better. I also love the song that plays in the background between you and ip man fighting. I'm tryna find it but can't🤔
The choreography of this fight its excelent man, thank you for that gift
I’m sorry but that fight scene where he fought 10 ppl in the first one is forever Goated
True, but they weren't nearly as skilled as this guy, and to be fair, it wasn't really 10 on 1, as the most he had to deal with at once was 4.
Master law always getting his butt kicked 😂
And the excuses never change 😂
That is not true! He'd have won if they didn't make the stage so small! 🤣🤣
With a lousy comical excuse with each time 🤣
P
I believe the stage is 2 small😂
2019: stage is too small
2011: table is too slippery
Dedication levels of these masters of Arts are amazing. glad we got the chance to see all in one frame. and chris sir luv your cute ELVISH hairstyle.
After seeing other people's comments I decided to check and Chris's movements made much more sense. His karate blocks were closer to the body than Goju Ryu or Shotokan and felt more akin to Wing Chun, even when the form is flawless. His delivery is excellent and I honestly cant imagine how many takes it took to perform the flying kick takedown.
Great job. Simply great.
Very much appreciate your comment. The flying kick take down took 3 takes, we used the second.
@@SifuChrisCollins Holy, just three takes. That's amazing. It goes to show how good martial artists are on picking up timing for the technique and proper form, because the position of the back leg is pretty much text book.
Your disciples are very fortunate.
@@SifuChrisCollins I forgot you were an actor!!!! Thrilling choreography.

I love that Master Law never complains about the pain, just the place. First the slippery table, now the "small" stage.
Lose or win, he always be in the ground, unlike coward.
such an amazing scene. I am inspired to learn wing chun because it is a beautiful style of combat.
Do it. It’s a fantastic journey
The first man: “ bullshit, why is the stage is so small”

that man always had an excuse when he fought IP man he said why is the table so slippery 😅😅 anyway he's a good actor am sure that's why they recast him in ip4

How old is your girlfriend?
Well, I went to school with Ip man we use to get high on weed 👌🪴

The scene has simple but excellent storytelling. I really like how each master does a little better than the previous one until he is ultimately surpassed. You can even feel the antagonist being nervous when he struggles to put the lady away. Great job by everybody.

That was a great fight and a great piece of acting off everyone involved. Chris Collins did a great job acting really condescending, despite being a Wing Chun practitioner himself. He made it really look as if he was hurting his opponents as well as being hurt by Donnie Yen as Ip Man.

Surely Donnie has portrayed Ip Man better than anyone and it is an absolute pleasure to watch him do what he does. Every fight scene is just a pure gem. Never gets old or boring. But in this scene, I would like to say that when Xiaofei Zhou enters the pit, it gives me the chills. They should have given her more time and kicking ass a lot more before she goes down. She is so charismatic on screen. She is indeed a phenomenal martial artist in real life and a national champion.
I saw one MMA fighter saying that if Donny Yen was 30 or so years younger and in MMA he would dominate it. I tend to agree. Still love watching anything Chris and Donny do.

Exactly. He portrayed the racism perfectly lol.
It was not easy.
He called the Chinese Yellow Bichtes but he's clearly half asian! We can see how americans and japanese used to treat the Chinese back in da days.
I like this scene. I like this scene a LOT. Collins starts off with -great- form, and I appreciate the fights work in sequence through fundamentals: power, techniques, throws. The lady master crushed it, and I appreciate 2:52 shows how to minimize a hit while taking it. 5:33 is the moment I knew he'd 'lost': Lost form, got sloppy, guards low all around (getting beat up and mad will do that to you)
Question for chris! Intentional choreography, or not?
Captures the feeling of rushing in JUST ever so -off- perfectly.
if it was a boxing match, coach would be in a corner shakin' his head goin' guard up, man, guard up.
