Could not have said it better myself. I’m a new subscriber. I’ve been Binge watching your videos. The content and quality is outstanding. Please, keep them coming. You are truly appreciated.
The blue and white coverlets were woven on a loom. Most were from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. They were usually made with wool. In the 1980’s and 90’s they were very popular in primitive deco. I have collected them over the years. In there heyday they were quite expensive! I still love them to this day!
Love the t-pot without lid. Suggestion: you could find a large cork to put in top when in use to hold the heat in and it would actually match the bottom of t-pot!😊
My favorite find is the wooden bowl.. Also, I think you look exceptionally pretty in this video. That style hat and the color of your blouse really really suits you.
You are killing it! Your videos are so fun, wish I could go with you! Thanks for taking me along! Congrats on the new home! Can’t wait to see it! Enjoy and be blessed! 💖🙏🤗🥂🍾
All the lovely stuff...it amazes me how much useful and beautiful stuff there is already out there from the past. Masses of it...just sitting there, waiting...
It's always a pleasure when you take us along with you I love the treasures you find and the pieces of jewelry you got was fabulous looking forward to your next video ty Laura always for sharing 💕💕💕
I cannot wait to watch your next video, week after week, they are so exciting and interesting. You have become a true expert on art and pottery Laura, I admire your " eye" for things, you always spot a treasure !👌And you love for these beautiful things ( and turquoise!) is contaigous! You have no idea how much you've inspired my every day life. Thank you Laura and all the best with your new beautiful home 😘
I can’t believe the native American jewelry you find over there. Amazing. I hardly ever find any in Tn. Nor any of all those Boho MCM or any good things here. I love seeing all the wood things and cool things you find. It makes me want to move to Oregon just because of the great picking. Lol 😝
Wouldn’t it be awesome to find items like this in Tennessee? I live in West Tennessee and the Goodwills or Antique stores have ridiculous prices! I could drive to Memphis or Nashville, but they’re both a 100 miles in either direction from where I live! The only Goodwill close to me reflects the economic situation in such a small town! Not much to find there!
I live in Virginia and I never see items like this in our Good Wills. I don’t even want to watch the channel anymore because it makes me so…….. mad! Just kidding I’ll watch but it’s so wild why we don’t have hardly anything except junk in most of our stores. It’s funny to think I would make a trip their just to go to Good Will. Why not and it also looks like a beautiful state. Think I’ll take a trailer or a uhaul truck and load up on all the deals haha!
@@annieoakley8082 I live in western, ky on the border, I find good stuff at the Union City goodwill, and amazing stuff at a place called Anything Goes Trading Company going toward Paducah! Its worth the drive, it has a facebook page. Plus we have a great little shop in Fulton, ky called Boards bounty with some really cool antique stuff!
You find the most beautiful and unique treasures. I am excited to see all the places you visit and the pieces you find. Can't wait to see what your going to put in your sale next week
Lovely, lovely, colorful and entertaining video! So many great finds! The folk art piece made by the student for his teacher brought tears to my eyes. This is life, it’s beauty, and not just junk. So many of these things meant so much to so many at one time… Great work Laura, bless you! Much affection from the city of Detroit! Linda
Laura I love tagging along with you; you have a very good sense of finding just beautiful pieces, while the prices are so reasonable. One of my faves is the fat Budda, he is smoken hot!
Laura, I just love you and your channel !!! Every video is so FUN and educational....I have learned so much about vintage items from you. Thanks for sharing yourself and your knowledge ! I also loved hearing your kitties "talking" at the end of the video ! =^.^=
It is so fun shopping with you! I've learned a lot from you, and now I have a little bit of knowledge about what's valuable and what to look for. Thank you Laura for sharing your treasure hunts! I can't wait to see your new house when it's decorated!
How was the fair in the 60's Cafe? It looked like such a fun place. I'm loving this trip. Thank you so much for taking us along. My favorite item, the table runner fabric you bought. Roll on next week! ;-)
You are a pleasure to thrift with and I learn a lot. I shopped three stores yesterday and loaded my van. The largest piece was a antique plant stand with lots of detailed wood mouldings and a massive spiral post. $3.99 😎 Also a wood and glass china cabinet to hang on the wall. I have lots of pretties but not a lot of places to show them. That will get cleaned, some Old English to polish it up and some thin wood shelves cut to fit inside. $3.99 !
I began watching you on a whim a few months ago and I love your videos. You have such a unique vision of the thrifted items. You are able to see the treasure in so many pieces. I also love to see the places that you go on your thrifting hauls. I would love to explore some of those places someday and you have given me so many ideas of some hidden treasures in our beautiful country. Thank you for seeing the blessing in the small things!
Laura, when you are looking at the raku pottery, look for the letters MB for Mary Bergstrom, from Canada, she was very popular in the 60's and her pottery is worth a lot of money~the ironwood rose had a hummingbird in the holes at the top-seems that it is missing
Goodmorning from Denmark👋 I'm hear early today. My cat has been waking me up at 5 in the morning for the past 3 days🙀 It's going to be another day with lots of coffee😉 Love the jewlery😍
My hubby and I were in an antique shop on the weekend and I actually saw a few of the penguin ice buckets, but this time one was actually a gold colour. Thought of you and had to take a picture. haha
Love your finds, love your enthusiasm, love your taste and love your videos! Thanks for your knowledge and kindness to others. Keep the trip videos coming!
I used to sell ironwood in my retail store. I am pretty sure that the holes in the rose would be for hummingbirds, also carved from ironwood, to fit in. Since the hummingbirds are so fragile, I have usually only seen them as loose pieces, to aid in safely delivering the art without breakage.
Heading to Lincoln City on Friday to escape the 100 degree weather here in Salem. Can't wait to hit some of these places to shop for my Etsy store! Thanks, Laura!
In love with that Hawaiian incense burner and the Ram. Will keep a lookout for them in your sale. This Oregon Coast adventure is lovely. Thank you for taking us along.
Some great finds! I love how you have the smarts to leave things behind that are damaged or overpriced, but you like them, I need to get a head on my shoulders and save my money for the things I really think are worthy and that I love. Thanks for sharing! I loved that little antique store! Can't wait till your shop sale. My fingers are ready to try to beat the clock on what I want.. I also can't wait to see your outside entertaining/relaxing space when it's done. You are so talented and have such an eye for mixing and matching colors and patterns with some really neat pieces. I'd love to have a nice cold lemonade from your vintage glasses and pitcher and just sit out there, talking about mid century hunting, and how cool it is to be on the west coast, I live in upstate NY. PS: I couldn't believe some of the prices at goodwill. I see on ebay, some of the goodwills in CA have their own accounts, selling pearl necklaces, for example, at $225. Good for them if it helps the community, my goodwill doesn't have constant great finds, but when I do find something, it's rarely over $5. Love you! I wish I could do some hunting w you, you are so FUN and knowledgeable!

Hey Laura. The teapot would look cool with a cork in the top.
That's just what I thought! 😉
Was thinking the same thing.
Good idea!
That’s exactly what I thought.
I love watching you
I did my first thrifting
Today in 20 yrs

I live in the south east near the coast. I've always wanted to visit the west coast. Sadly I've never made it.

You need a hat rack like the one in that one shop. I love the little Ram that you picked up. He would look so cute in a babies animal theme nursery.
