- Ikea Curtain Rods Installation guide.
In this video, I will show you how to install the Ikea Curtain rods in minutes. The installation process is pretty simple to follow and you can do it all by yourself with only a few tools.
Once installed, it will add a nice premium look to your room.
Ikea offers multiple types of curtain rods (BEKRAFTA, RACKA, HUGAD, etc). The above mentioned installation process is the same for all of these models.
Do let me know if you have any questions about the installation process.

Nice video. Doesn't the curtain rod move at the extension joint when you open/close curtains?
Thanks Kunal. No the spacers that they have provided hold the curtain rod in place so that they do not move when opening or closing curtains. Installing those spacers is a pain though. But once installed, they keep the rods in place.
@@TheGlovesMan thanks for the reply.
What if the door goes all the way to the end of the wall? I can't find any bracket on IKEA for that
Sorry, but i cannot visualise what you're trying to say
@@TheGlovesMan all my windows and doors extend upto end of wall at one side, so I can't use these brackets to hold the pipe at one of the two side. I need a "wall to wall" bracket at one end which seems like IKEA doesn't manufacture. (Just imagine at one end of your curtain rod, if it touches the wall directly without that small 6 inch wall section at the end where you fitted your rod holder.)
@@pravinladde Ohh understood. Well, in that case, you will have to get those round wall mounts from a hardware shop and then use the Ikea Rods. But I don't think it will hold properly as the extension mechanism of the rods might move and the rod will fall off from the socket.
Can you do one video without drilling, please?
Hey, I don't think it will be possible to hang the curtain rods without drilling. Could you please elaborate on how it can be done?
