AJ Lemus. what, no Why? She is perfectly balanced as she is, she still has functioning combos that take skill to master, so don’t this would make her good for casuals and op as hell for competitive like in sm4sh
FKboi You call living till 180%, no kill power, moves just breaking, basic combos so easily DIed out of, weak smash attacks for huge startup balanced? I could go on. She needs buffs.
AJ Lemus no killpower? She can confirm any smash attack out of down B and that kills early, and combo’s connect easily, she takes skill (which i don’t have) to play. If buffed she can dominate the scene once again

Can’t agree more ! While the combos are nuts , bayo really struggle to kill. The only reliable kill confirm is down B to smash attack
Smash Guide Even that won’t kill sometimes, when opponents are in Witch Time the multiplier for her smash attacks go from 1.2x to 1.1x. Yeah, a demon fist is the weakest smash attack smh.
Sometimes the attacks clash in witch time and thats annoying as well

It was the witch time, it's more likely to kill right after witch time stops than when it's still active

This video is a bit lacking in terms of a "guide", especially for her combos and as someone who is new to Smash and wanna learn her stuff.
For example, in the BnB section (Most important IMO) it says you can do down tilt into FAir into side B. Actually it's down tilt into FAir, land on a platform, Afterburner Kick (Side B on the ground does Heel kick so keep in mind you need to instantly jump into side B).
And then, it says FAir into Side B. Should've also stated you need to fast fall during the third hit in order to connect the Afterburner Kick.
After that, it says Side B into up tilt. That's Side B launcher (Hold B) into FAir, Up tilt wasn't even used in any of the clips.
Good Bayonetta highlight or combo video, but calling this a guide is a stretch.

Smash 4 bayo were more stylish, She needed some nerfs, but they nerfed her too hard. Please, some buff, every low tier have received some buff and not bayo
agree! Bayo in Ultimate really has a rough time
Bayo did get a batch of buffs (mostly to landing lag and witch time active frames) but I agree she's still underpowered

@@NotAFish No offense but you're kinda trippin lol, Bayo is a character in this meta without disjoints, with some of the slowest frame data, damage reliant on the other person guessing wrong or not DIing, on top of her damage not mattering that much because regardless she's gonna have to be fishing for kill moves at 170 even against lightweights (and on that topic, she's tall and light asf herself). She's mid being VERY very optimistic and not even solid mid, so probably between top of low tier and low mid
she got one and its one that put here all the way up to A tier
As a Bayo main some of these clips hurt to watch lol. Girl needs a buff. The following buffs would improve her greatly: Increased size of back air sweet spot (or just making the move even), MASSIVE reduction in landing lag (seriously it’s absurd), Witch time General frame data improvements/duration buff, fixing of her up air hitbox *only seems to be on foot, doesn’t hit with the leg* and a decrease in end lag on her tilts.

I think the fact that you can di out of a lot of bayonneta combos has significantly balanced her and I think shes in a good state
Simple buffs,
Buff her up air (that angle is Hella weird) and obviously the KBG of the move so it can kill on the top when it should.
Buff smash attacks multiplier
Buff Fair,Bair and Nair Hitboxes and Kill power (aka buff KBG)
Buff f throw Knockback so she can kill earlier with that
And make Up B sweetspot the ledge.
That's it.
hy5sm I wouldn’t buff the up air because the angle is already good for combos which is why it’s one of her best combo tools. We don’t want it to knock up or we’d have someone broken

Bayo needs small buff tweaks such as Smash knocback.

Dash attack is decent at killing at higher percents or leaving the opponent in a bad spot offstage

If they buff her since I play her I obviously want good buffs but too good buffs for a previously broken character would be questionable so atleast give me reduced end lag on landing aerials

I think her witch time needs to come out just a little bit faster. Maybe I just suck at timing it but compared to other defensive moves like it, it's incredibly slow to me.

i main Bayonetta my best character i practice her offline to get better with her combos i did beat really great Smash Bros players who used their best characters against my Bayonetta with 7 wins and lost 3
These combos seem simple, but Bayo has to be dead-on precise with her next move or she gets punished to death. Chose the wrong aerial? Have fun getting hit for 30% because of landing lag. Missed a Witch Twist? Bye bye advantage state. ABK didn't hit the opponent at a favourable angle? You better hope they don't know the Bayo matchup. Accidentally did bullet arts with an aerial or special? Goodbye combo potential.

It's called RAR (Reverse Aerial Rush)
The blue circle that appeared on the ground when bayo' jumped is where you look out for it
It's a quick dash forward back>jump then continue your aerial as reverse up air to back air is a nice combo finisher

best control setting for bayo?
I set L to jump, put stick jump on and use the c stick to do uair. It's easier to reverse up b jump cancel for me with stick jump, but even then sometimes I unknowingly burn her second jump.
They really need longer witch time imo, i can barely do anything with a split second
