  • Marianna from the shop breaks down the Topcon H5A in-depth, going over what each button does and when and why you want to use that specific feature. She covers the basics, from setting slope to the more advanced features such as manual mode and height alert.
    We like to look at this video as your "video user manual" for the H5A. If you would like to read the manual, we also provided the link in the description below for your convenience.

    My RL-H5A operates differently, according to the manual. I have verified this personally. Read the fine manual!

    I have a rl h5a . A year old and laser beam is very dim. Why?

    • @TigerSupplies
      @TigerSupplies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is just the nature of red beam lasers. Typically, red beam rotary lasers are used outside where it is impossible to see the beam. This is why we use the laser eye receiver, to detect the beam. If you do some work indoors and want to use a rotary laser, we recommend green beam rotary lasers. They are 4 times brighter than red beams...Keep in mind that even with green beam, it will still be impossible to see in direct daylight conditions. Hope this helps!

      Did you find a fix? My laser is very dim and my receiver won’t even pick up the laser anymore.

    I'm just wondering, if I buy the Topcon RL-H5A Construction Laser Level Rechargeable Kit With Tripod And 16' Rod posted on your ebay, does it include the battery tray for the rechargeable battery? or do I need to purchase it separately?

    • @TigerSupplies
      @TigerSupplies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rechargeable H5A kit include the battery tray, rechargeable batteries and the charger.

    I bought 1 of this from u guys but l haven't got the battery... How can l get one??

    • @TigerSupplies
      @TigerSupplies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jarilson! If you purchased the non-rechargeable model, batteries are not included. The H5A takes 4 D-Cell batteries. However, if you purchased the rechargeable battery model and did not receive them, please call us to make sure we fix the issue!

    Can the H5A lie on its side and be use to level vertically?

    • @TigerSupplies
      @TigerSupplies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The H5A does not have vertical alignment capabilities. The next Topcon model in the series, the rl-SV1s or rl-SV2s, will offer vertical alignment.

    Hello, mty topcon fell and hit the sidewalk quite hard - is there any calibration I can do to ensure nothing was displaced? Should I be worried that anything could have shifted internally?

    • @TigerSupplies
      @TigerSupplies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, although the laser might’ve taken a hard fall this doesn’t mean it is out of calibration as these units are made to fall. If nothing sounds abnormal and the laser is rotating without problem I think you should be fine. However, you are more then welcome to send the laser into us to take a look at.

      Take the laser to a pond and compare elevation readings at the edge of the water at various spots.

    After 16 years of excavations, do not.. I repeat DO NOT shake your laser like this girl did haha elevations are crucial and all she did was potentially throw off the machines calibration
