      Glad to be back. I’ve got a couple small grading projects I’m working on so maybe I’ll be able to squeeze another video in using the rotary laser. Very cool tool. Definitely think it’ll be worth the investment

    Check into a lenker rod to use with the laser. It will eliminate the math and is much quicker.

      check out "How to read a direct reading cut fill rod" on TH-cam. In your case, (video) all you would have to do is set the rod at the low point, move the receiver on target, zero the tape (on the rod), move to the high point, move the receiver to be on target and read the height. Done. No math, no mistakes.
