The biggest problem I have with Topcon is I can't hear the receiver due to hearing loss (from being in the trades too long.) It turns out I'm not alone with this problem. All Topcon has to do is change the sounder to a lower frequency or offer a hi/low frequency switch. Lastly, the marketing material didn't make it clear D-Cell batteries could also be used with the rechargeable battery pack. I ordered the D-Cell battery model only because I didn't want to get stuck with a proprietary battery. Now that I know, I would have ordered the battery pack model :-( Since I have to have a helper that can hear, I find myself using my transit instead of the laser. The transit requires two people (we could both be deaf), and I can do so much more with the transit.
was his narrow band wide band correct, he talked about narrow band at 1/16 with up to 1/8 if you enter in both directions. what is wide band. 1/8, with 1/4 error?

Any Info on a RG-5 A laser,,why the charger jack on the inside of the battery pack??
I have a RL-H4A. I can't find useful information how to "actually" use slope feature. Can you please show in detail how to slope?
