I need a photo with the guy that introduced me to one of my favorite games of all-time, HARVEST!!! you also introduced me to so many other games from the East. my wife wants to thank you for draining our bank account. LOL. joking, she loves gaming too. great video. looking forward to GenCon tomorrow, when I show up and all weekend.
I LOVE that you know the wonderful "charm" of the Tanuki. :) I learned about them when I visited a friend living in Japan and am obsessed. I have a small hand-carved wooden figurine with a very prominent package helping prop him up, lol.
Am I ready? Absolutely not. Will I be ready Tuesday? We'll see. Sadly, we're not in the same booth neighborhood this con, but I'll wave hi from 1731! Thank you for adding booth numbers. So helpful! I'm trying to have an organized shopping list this year! 😅
Have a couple of these on my list to check out already. You should come by the Charity Boardgamer's community meetup at Gen Con on Friday night if you are free.
I’ve loved all the Gloomhaven content thus far. Though I will say, I’d rather play a new Jaws of the Lion every year than a big Gloomhaven every three years.
Yes and No. There are indeed quite a few meeple stacking games. I believe Animal Upon Animal (?) uses dice. Buffet Boss uses card drafting. Also the croc in AUA is fairly sturdy. The plate in Buffet Boss is not sturdy and and swing in one dangerous direction with the first meeple placement
Good question. I believe it depends on the version you get. You could always use Google Lense or make your own prompts. Arcane Wonders is out of the initial Arclight International English version of the game, but will have their own English version releasing later this year.
Loving your enthusiasm and your knowledge. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Another great video, thanks for all your hard work doing all this research!
Thanks!
Awesome rundown!
Thanks!
I CANT WAIT TO PICK SOME OF THESE UP!
Can’t wait to catch up and say hello! 🎉🎉
Thanks & please do stop by 3035! Look for the big frog in the sky!
Wish we could be there! So many great games~
Wish you could be there too!!
petition to keep the picture of the game on the screen while you are talking about it, not remove it 0.1 sec after mentioning the title
Great feedback. I’ll remember that for next time. Thanks!

Happy hunting! Stop by 3035!
Whoa! I'm gonna be at the Bezier Booth too! See ya there
Rock on!

Tanukis are the best! On my last trip, I could NOT NOT buy one to bring back home with me 😁

If I can find it 😅 I’d love to stop by and check everything out!
Not going to Gen Con, but a lot of these will probably be at Spiel too!
Yup! I should have a Spiel video too 👍
@@CardboardEastawesome!
Using Buttons and Bugs to prop up your list! What are your thoughts on the game?

Buffet Boss is like a reskin ofthe stacking crcodile game, but with different shapes and a theme.

Lone Wolves is my #1!
It’s so good!
Nice list of games! Do you know if the Japanese version of Ito only has Japanese on the cards, or is it Japanese and English? Thanks!

@@CardboardEast Thanks! I'll start looking into it. :)
Great video! When you were discussing ito, you mention there is another party game you like more. What is the name of that game?
Natsumemo! I talk about it in my Top 10 board games from Japan video 👍

@@CardboardEast Thank you! I will watch that next!
An English-language play through of Natsumemo would be appreciated. There are five videos on BGB in French, Italian, Hangugeo, and Guoyu.
@@garytheosophilus Great idea!
Tangram City is by Uwe, not Knizia!
Ouch! You’re right! Apologies
Plate. It's just said like a plate.
Good to know! Thanks so much!
