WHOA! I don’t generally like trick taking games but this looks AMAZING!
How have I not seen this mentioned in any other Gen Con videos?!

That's nice artwork. The rules are also more strategic, so players can play the game over and over again. Great development.I hope this work will be played all over the world.

This looks a very solid game having a combination of trick taking and area control. Definitely want to try this as I love trick taking and area control (Joraku and Catsle Builders are may fav trick tacking games). This game has glimpse of Air land and Sea (ALS). It would have been great if there were some power cards which allowed to flip or movement of some lone wolves - 1 point cards to other locations (similar to ALS). But the placing of scar tokens are critical part of the strategy. Super game… i am sure it’s going to be a hit at Gencon. Great Video Jay and thanks for bringing such great game from Asia to us.

Thanks! The scar tokens are more than enough for power cards I feel. They definitely add a huge layer to the game.

Great game and great video. I agree with the "play once and Im done" thought and likewise agree its not a bad thing. Trick-taking games are often characterized by that repetition of reshuffling and getting many games played in one session. With area control being more at the forefront, imo, it does rework that characterization. I look forward to challenging you in five years!

FCC is so smooth, it’s hard for me not to smile ear to ear while playing 😁

For those interested, I THINK the printing for Gen Con has made the board thinner, which SHOULD solve the board stiffness issue. I'll try to confirm~

@@CardboardEast Confirmed. The boards are thinner for the Gen Con printing. Cross your fingers that it helps~

Watching you tossing away 4 clan conflict box lightly like that (which you highly praised 11 month ago) feels heartbreaking, dude. 喜新厌旧
Maybe someday it will happens to all of your recommended best game like Pathogen etc too once it got acquisitioned

Apologies for the dramatic flare. I threw an empty box onto my sofa and was making a commentary on how most skip classic games in favor of “the hot newness”. I love both games actually and don’t see either leaving my collection anytime soon 👍

But I have no doubt that loved games of mine will eventually get replaced. That means game design is improving and getting better. A win for everyone.
