I like your story. I make a lot of electricity. When I move I want to grow a lot of food and have less waste.

Bea Johnson said that refusing things alltogether and minimizing your buying and eliminating your plastic covered foods and goods is the key. Reusing your stuff is another. And we as gardners are happy to.take in scraps even from the neighbors . Greetings from a zero waste follower in Bulgaria

Also we are the ones that have to complain and threaten to go elsewhere in order to wake the businesses up and go zero waste. Start talking if you want the change

Great, but yes, you should avoid animal products. You can do it in little steps with little changes at one. It is easy to do it even in Hungary, so in Germany it must be a cakewalk :)

Germany is NOT the world champion in recycling. Germany only recycles 7% of its plastic and it's also the second biggest consumer of plastic in the EU, right after France. The only thing regarding recycling the Germany is the best at is the public opinion that recycling is good and should be done. No reason to pat yourself on the back.

Organic food can be quite cheap if you make the gardeners use permaculture practices to grow it

Thank you for your inspirational talk! You sound like an amazing person. If you are serious about walking the walk I hope you do abstain from consuming animal products or at least keep them to a minimum. You must know that livestock is a huge contributor to global warming.

90 percent of the plastic wast in the see comes from china. So all of this would have very little impact. :-/
