@tonym1424 40m for Toney, 60m for Eze (add-ons of 8m later) & 25m for Doue = 125m. This should be partially offset by sales of at least 50m e.g. Hoijberg, Lo Celso, Royale. So net another 75m if not less.

Neto is 24 years and already a finished product, Bakayoko is 21 and still hasn't touched his peak yet! I like both of them but Neto's injuries are a worry. If the monetary is equal I'm opting for Bakayoko!

I would rather get Toney and Bakayoko. Bakayoko is a brilliant RW. The eye tests, and the stats show he's one of the best in Europe. Maybe we include Parrot and Solomon part of the deal. To get it cheaper.
Imagine Son, Toney, and Bakayoko as our front three. That's goals galore. I am sick of people wanting to get Eze as LW and Son as striker. It's just wrong tactically.
While Kulu plays better as a 10 or false 9. He can compete with Madders, Devine, and even Bergvall for that no10 role.

@MrProGhosted Because we paid that deal in yearly installments. Like basically all clubs in world football and most transfers. And also we sold them Joe Rodon for 10mil.
While Eze has a release clause which must be paid in FULL up front. That's the problem. Which will leave us short of money to get a new striker, winger, defensive mid, and defender. And any remaining squad players we might want.
If we want Eze, We have to somehow give them a very lucrative offer where we don't have to pay the release clause fully in one payment.
That would most likely be to include players part of the deal and stretch the payment plan over a lower number of years like 3 years. That would be 20mil each summer. Which is still pretty high considering most clubs stretch the payment plan for players over like 5 years.

Why risk £40m on Neto when part of that could be used, if necessary, to out bid Bayern, PSG or even Chelsea for Doue?
Because Doue is unproven. Could be great or could turn out like Gil, Nkoudou, Njie, etc.
I half-way agree with Sim regarding Neto. If we sign Doue or Eze as well (plus a stiker), then our squad can absorb some injuries. The problem is that it will be hard to sell him on for a decent fee in a couple years if he's spent the whole time injured.

Leipzig gave us their worst attacker. They won't sell Openda for a cheap fee. Spurs won't spend 80m, get real.
Neto's 60m fee is largely due to him having 3 years left on his contract. He could stay at Wolves, stay fit all season, put up monster numbers and increase his value more than 60m. Wolves do not have to sell him. Pay up or jog on. If he had 1 year left, you could easily get him for the fee Spurs want to pay.

I think I'd rather Chiesa for 20-25 million considering all the positions we need to strengthen. I'd also sell Richarlison for 40-60m and bring in David 25m and Tony 45m.

Have you seen Chiesa play recently? He still has some elite traits, but his physicality and production have drastically declined. £20M sounds like a bargain until you realize that he's in the last year of his contract and is rumored to want higher wages. This is just Juventus trying not to lose him on a free. He's seen as a problem who will not be a significant contributor to a Juventus squad that finished 23 points off the title last year. He still hasn't produced a truly world-class season, even before he was out of football for 11 months. He isn't even the cheapest option of our rumored targets.

The Neto situation is a very tricky one. Rather splash the cash on a quality player who is less injury prone than Pedro.
• Spurs fans complain about Lo Celso & Sess but wants a player who can't play more then 20 games. We need someone to can stay fit for all League, Cup & Europa games. Quality player but not worth the money.
• Bakayoko & Kubo is a player who could shine for Ange.
• Openda or David I would love to see but I think Veliz should be given a chance.
• Doue is a good player but do we really want to bring someone in that will be taking over Moore spot? We complain about not giving youth a chance but this is the reason why we don't.
• Just get Emerson out
doue is a winger not a 10 like moore would be, and neto actually impacts the game unlike lo celso and sess
@@yessirglizzy4966 Doue & Moore can both play LW & CAM but i'd rather see Moore our LW. Doesn't matter if you impact games or not, the injury record is not good at all. We need players who are ready to play & fit, not another Lo Celso who plays then gets injured again. It's a big risk for Neto.
Bakayoko is not a top quality ready made player at all in fact to me he looks like he could take an adaptation périod just like Johnson. Neto is the geniune only game changer in the front three we have been seriously linked with. I would pick Doué over Eze, the kid looks to me like a star In the making who will only get better playing alongside better players
Exactly this, doesn't matter if we don't get a full season from neto he is the best winger in the league when fit, unbelievable work rate too.
With all the record signings that have flopped recently I just can’t see Levy spending again like that with a big risk . Bakayoko is top notch and he actually can play on the left as well.
I think if I view it as spending my own money rather than the club’s, there’s no way I’d go for Neto, regardless of the temptation to gamble on the possible (not necessarily probable) availability/upside.

You *love* Eze and he has his issues. Madders has his issues. Van de Ven, Sarr, Udogie all key Spurs young players who had injuries last season.
Agree Neto has more serious issues in his past, but the idea that there’s no discount that makes the risk worth the reward is silly.
As far as I could find Neto has only played around 50 games in the last 3 seasons. That in no way is good enough if we want to compete for anything. Even 30-40m is still just risky.
Here is someone speaking sense. Buying Neto is a risk. Huge risk. I wouldnt take him for a free either. He will take up space for someone who could do a lot in the long run. The question is would you rather buy a Bentley that has a 50% chance of starting for a whole year or a Toyota that works all day everyday

Eze, Neto and Gallagher all seem like overpriced duds to me. Would rather they spent the money on players we actually need.
If we go into the season with Richarlison again and Son as back up, we won’t have improved on last year, when this was not good enough. Of course Son could get better service from improved wingers, but he is not dangerous in the air, we lose every long ball lumped up to him in the air. No good with his back to goal. Richarlison is not bad, but really he should be cover/competing and no more. He isn’t your go to no.9, good enough and he is injured too often. We lost Kane and cannot continue as we did last season with no top replacement. It cost us at the end of the day, as did our poor defending, especially on set pieces. The current coaching must change in that regard too. Give someone else that task.

the lad for canada davide isnt doing well at copa , canada are doing well hes been average at best having watched all there games so far ive watched most of the copa america games so far tbh theres not been to many standout players . as for neto its a no to injury prone we got enough of our own already that are prone

I wouldnt gamble any money on a player with that injury record. We don't have a good record keeping players fit. He hasnt played more than 20 games in each of the last 3 seasons. How many of those are recovery games where he is trying to get up to speed? This isnt Ronaldo or Messi simply not worth the wages.
The club will probably sign 2 out of the million players that are linked, fans are just dreaming and have been playing far to much FIFA, Levy will let us down as usual.
