Don't always agree with Brian, but love (and agree) with his thoughts on Pierre! In the right system he is a quality player, always available, puts 110% in, suprisingly good going forwards (watch Denmark). Hope he does well at Marseille.

Good luck to P-EH, he always gave 100%. He was born in Denmark, plays for Denmark but his mother is French. The clue is in the name Pierre-Emile, so Marseille makes sense I suppose.

Not the best deal on our part, hes worth at least 20 mil, however i guess it means we can now accelerate in the market as we sell before we buy
Edit : Tbf he had one year remaining on his contract so in fact the deal wasnt that bad
I think the main reason we sold him for relatively cheap was the fact that 1. he only has 1 year left on his deal and 2. his wages were relatively high (in the region of 100k£)

It baffles me that Hojbjerg is worth no more than £20. I know no one seems to be willing to pay more so whatever, we have to accept it, but so many clubs are demanding 40, 50 even 60+ million for players of his quality. Same for Lo Celco, Spence, even Emerson.
Says a lot that a highlight of one of your stars was that he once "squared up to Arteta". I look forward to the DVD.

Glad to see Pierre go tbh. He's clearly a good player who can fill a role but I can't remember one single time where I actually enjoyed watching him play. His style isn't what I want to watch every week.

This is not a good deal for you. Always available, averaged 36 games a season in the prem. You've basically lost a first teamer.

I don't see any way that Mount comes in. He's apparently on more than £250 a week at Utd. I think Son is meant to be on £200k so to break the wage structure and make him the highest paid player at the club considering he's had two poor seasons in a row (albeit last year he was basically injured for the entire time). Would be a weird transfer, maybe as a loan it would work but Utd wouldn't loan him out after spending £55-60m on him last year

Best wishes to Pierre, ‘machine’ is a great description of him. I think Spurs need a ball winner in midfield. As pleasing as Bissouma Gray & Bergvall will be, if your a goal up and you want to protect your lead in the last 15mins, Mctominay would be perfect. You always need a bit of grit in the middle of the park. Gray & Bergvall will get tough treatment, even Moore. Teams are not going to let them run wrings around them. Roy Keane, Ince viera (sorry) Rhodri Mccalister & LFC, you always need that type of player in the Prem. Mctominay could be a good signing!! COYS

Levy knows Sonny ain't going to be around forever and when he goes that's a huge chunk of income lost. No more Sonny T-shirts being sold in South Korea and other parts of Asia. By signing the next South Korean Star, Spurs will to some extent plug that financial gap.

I must respectfully disagree. In my opinion, we should take the following steps:
Firstly, I am glad we have sold Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, a transfer saga that is finally resolved. Both Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma should be made available for transfer. Bryan Gil and Giovani Lo Celso should be moved on as soon as possible. Ashley Phillips should be promoted to the fourth-choice centre-back position. For the striker role, we need a third or fourth option, and I suggest giving this opportunity to Lankshear. Additionally, if a suitable offer comes in, Richarlison should be transferred. Securing a top-class number 9, such as Ivan Toney or a striker of similar calibre, is imperative due to their proven goal-scoring ability. This is the top priority for the window and non-negotiable.
Kulusevski should be sold if the right price is offered, as he is predictable, lacks pace, and always has to cut inside. We have promising young talents such as Alfie Devine and Mikey Moore, who deserve a chance to showcase their potential. Their higher ceilings make them worthy of first-team opportunities. With the versatility of Archie Gray and the football intelligence of Bergvall, our focus should be on significant investments only in the forward position and a number six. This is crucial for the success of Angeball.
Our system relies heavily on quick, first-time balls from the wings into the box, necessitating a prolific striker to convert these opportunities. Similarly, a number six who can facilitate this style of play is essential. The current squad does not fully meet these tactical demands, thus requiring strategic changes.
I am also uncertain about what Eze will bring to this system. Is he significantly different from Bissouma? The latter currently does not work in the Angeball system as a ball-carrying midfielder, and I am unsure if that will translate effectively.
