You need to have your person that installs the reflective tape down the sides of your trailers, call them correctly the ridge should always point towards the rear. That way somebody knows if the trailer is going forward or backwards when they see it in the dark. Otherwise it looks like you build a very nice trailer and I wish I could get one.
I been looking around town but only trailer place wanted 20k for a 14ft knockoff brand. These look awesome, I want 16ft, 24" sides and from telescoping ram. I still don't know if Bumper or gooseneck hitch.
Just a question, why do we have square bottom corners? Why not radius those corners? I understand that you have d-rings welded for tie downs, but that seems like an easy fix if you did radius the corner. At 4:34 you can see the d-rings and that sharp corner. It looks like the d-ring is holding material. If you radius that corner and move the d-ring up the wall a few inches, would that help material clean out better.
Thank you for the feedback! We don’t radius the corners due to the trailer being used to haul machines (skid steers, excavators etc.) that are full width as well. Thanks for the suggestion on the D-Ring as well! 👍
Great question. On the LPT the tonnage rating of the cylinder is the same from the 14,900-24,000lbs. The ton rating does reduce on the smaller telescopic dump trailers. Thanks!
my understanding is you use a drop axle for 24 inch deck height so my question is what is the axle ground clearance? would it be a issue maybe hitting something and damage a axle
My massive dump truck can haul way too much weight and being telescopic the bed had bowed. I assume these are gonna bow ? Why wouldn't they unless the hydraulic won't lift it fully loade
I want a deck over engineered and designed like the lpt. spring helper assists on the drop sides to help one left the sides back up on a 16' trailer gooseneck with telescoping lift. please...

I love this channel, I’m a trailer nerd
Are the telescoping Rams have different ratings? In tons

Great question! Axle ground clearance is about 13". We don't see many issues with the axle beams hitting things but debris on the road.

You guys sell them trailers in buffalo ny ? Or close

Why not spray the inside with bed liner like lineX or rhino?
Great question! Bed liner on the inside of a dump will cause too much friction and loaded material will stick in the bed rather than dumping.
