I love my DC 14.9k LPT. It’s the first dump trailer that I’ve owned. I have rented and borrowed a couple of different ones over the years. The only two issues that I have is the tarp isn’t level when fully retracted. The screws that attach the grommets to the pipe are not installed the same. That’s what causes the tarp to be lopsided when you wind it up. The passenger door stop latch needs a little more space so that the door will latch and unlatch with a little less effort. Other than that, it’s been a great trailer.
My towmaster 14 k 12 ft dump has bever failed to dump. I have 100% overloaded it to the point my 14 ply tires were sketchy and it dumped just fine . My dump truck is also scissor lift.....
My 2024 doors didn’t lock easily. Had to force them. Bird shit welds and spatter all over. Rust under the powder coat. Waited 2 months for it special order. My 2021 trailer was better.

Seems kind of crappy that the electric over hydraulic system in the trailer, whether dexter or whatever is not set up to recognize a brake signal from truck systems...especially if new. I think Dexter has an adapter that fixes that. But years ago I ran a dexter E/H disc brake system off of simple brake controllers, and they had no need to have a separate mode....they worked great.
i agree with you diamond c has dropped it’s quality control not sure why they were really good trailers a had a dealer that i bought all my diamond c trailers from i was going to order another one but they stopped selling them cause they kept having issues with them they were doing a lot of warranty work and they wouldn’t cover it one of my friends has a bent frame it not even level and been waiting months for a answer to see if they can fix it or replace it

The Tarp system is always uneven when stowed back to travel mode. And the back locking door always stored all the junk in the insert to lock the door.

I just went from 10' brimar to 2024 10' diamond c. Has upgraded pump and locking doors without chains. Love it.

Quality on Diamond C has slipped. My last one wasn’t as good. Owned it for 3 months and sold it. Made a profit on it though 👍
