  • Bienvenidos amigos to another episode of MLD!!!
    We've been living at our casita for just over 4 months now so we thought it would be a good time to give y'all a house tour. Our departemento isn't perfect just yet but it's a work in progress. We're sharing our favourite things about our casa and our neighbourhood as well as how much we pay for rent.
    This is our journey!

    Great video, thank you for the tour. Definately better place, better offerings (closet space), air, better neighborhood, and better than the prior place for your family’s health. OMG those outtakes of Cali yelling when you were trying to film 🤣🤣🤣 and the price is great!! Glad you all are doing well.

    It does look very comfortable and most all, it is closed to that gorgeous waterfall. Hope you guys are enjoying the walks there.

      Thank you 😊 we are very comfortable and loving the area. Unfortunately the waterfall is all dried up but it’s been raining the last few days so we’ll go check it out!

    Was wondering where you are in relation to the Saturday market, up the hill near the gas station etc..? I looked at some lots way up the hill years ago. The roads back then were not so good in the rainy season back then. Tried the fish tacos near the market yet. Used to go there when I went to the market. Thanks again for taking me down memory lane. You both are so much more comfortable doing this now. Wish you continued success!!!

      We are a 10 min walk from Saturday Tianguis in Santa Maria. Directly above 5D neighbourhood before arriving to the tunnel. We’re not on a hill however our street does eventually go up hill a few blocks away.

    Hey! Thanks for your videos, homies! I haven't been to PV in 20 years, but it looks even better than I remember! I live in LA in an amazing rent control...but this city is too big and it's dying.

      I was thinking about the appliances… that would bother me too… maybe if you guys plan on staying there a while you could ask the landlord to go half on buying bigger appliances 🤷🏻‍♀️

      They're honestly so small lol we're going to tolerate them for now but maybe in the future we will upgrade :) Also our old place didn't even have an oven so this is already an upgrade LOL

    Have you noticed there are no screens on the windows in Mexico? LOL! With the bugs - one would think they'd like screens for the windows and patio doors. Just a random thought.

    • @Morelifediaries
      @Morelifediaries  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Some people don’t even have windows 😕 ain’t no one stopping these bugs lol

    • @frankiebowie6174
      @frankiebowie6174 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The first thing la duena did when we moved in was to replace the screens that had holes in them. Our previous apartment did not have them and I prefer screens. They do keep the mosquitoes and flies out. Our old apartment, which was actually newer, did not have them and I don’t understand why.

    I've seen so many videos and have contacted different TH-camrs and no one has helped. I just have 2 simple questions. I have both USA and Mexican citizen passports, what is the very 1st step in buying a house before looking for a property to buy?

    • @Morelifediaries
      @Morelifediaries  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello and thank you for your comment. I unfortunately don’t think contacting TH-camrs is where you’ll find your answers. We have never gone through the process so don’t know. Some research online could really help you out. I’ll link an article below which could clarify a few things

    Did you ever consider to buy a condo? How do you like Bucerias? I have friends from BC, which have their own homes; they usually are
    there in winter months.

    • @Morelifediaries
      @Morelifediaries  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No we never considered buying - prices seem very inflated at the moment. We had sworn off condos after moving out of one into our home in Toronto - we considered living in one here in Versalles and are thankful everyday we didn’t end up there. It’s for some but not for us! If we do decide to buy it’ll probably be a home that we’d like to renovate.
      We like Bucerias but I don’t think we would live there long term. If we move from PV it would be for a much smaller town than Bucerias.
