This song, has and always will, be a blessing to remember the times that delivered me such new beginnings and joy. Today, our Yorkie “Linus” (of 16 yrs, just one months shy of 17) passed away. He was the guardian angel of our marriage for 18 of the 20. But the past year and a half more so. A lot happened over the years. The past year and a half the hardest. But he held on to make sure that we were ok , and whether Ed the storm, he left us. This song, is the song that says it all. He is now free, and iwith the Lord. He is flying. I was in West Denver on I70 just entering the beautiful stretch of mountains. I stopped to fill up my tank and “I heard an eagle cry.” I looked up in the tree next to me and there is this beautiful eagle looking at me. I never saw one in the wild before. I hit the road and spent the next several hours in the most beautiful place on earth on my way to Aspen. I totally related to this song the entire tine I spent in the beautiful Rocky mountains. If you haven’t taken that trip before, it’s a must for your bucket list!
