Class of ‘89 here. We didn’t know how good we had it at the time. We had it all, especially freedom, in a way that can not be understood by kids today.
The nostalgia this song brings up is borderline painful. I can almost smell the trees on the block I grew up on, I can still feel the optimism that was in the air during the 80s. I miss it so much.
I'm not afraid of dying, just getting old. Why can't we be born old and go backwards. I miss my youth. I'm 53 and disabled. What I would give to be 18 again!
The 80’s were THE best. MTV, Saturday morning cartoons, actually going OUTSIDE and socializing with your friends, sleepovers,Friday night family night at Pizza Hut, Arcades, etc. I’m so glad I was able to enjoy that decade.
My life right now may be pitiful, but I was blessed to have grown up in the 80's. This song brings me joy and sadness because time cannot be rewound and these were indeed great times.
I'm here cause I'm stoned
Whos watching this 2024?
Who else is going through their favorite jams thinking about life back in the days? Please tell me I'm not the only one✌🏼️
I don't listen to this song often; but when I do, so do the neighbors
Who's here in 2024?
If you didn't experience the 80's, then you didn't live.
It’s not just nostalgia… the world was a better place before the internet
Class of 82! When men and women existed and life was GREAT! I'll take the 80's all over AGAIN!❤😊😅
The Internet has sucked the life out of everything 🥹

The worst part about having lived through the '80s is how much you miss it now.
54 years old and love the memories from this song. There will never a decade like the 80’s. Glad I was apart of it!!!!
How time flies? I'm already in my 50s. Thought I'd never get old.

There will never be a time again in this country like it was during the 80's. We all got along and the music went to your soul. I miss those days.
