When visiting the chow hall one morning at MCRDSD, I was greeted with the various cadences from various drill instructors including that of my own instructor. Call me weak but the beauty of it all brought me to tears You can hear the passion in some of these instructors voices, its like a different song each time
DIDDY BOPPIN', WAVING, ALSO STOP THE HEAD DOGING WHEN LEFT SHOLDER TO RIGHT SHOLDER AND BACK! BRING BACK THE REAL LUFE OR DEATH RECRUIT TRAINING OR THIS COUNTRY IS UCKED!
Lmao one of out ditties the d.i.s would call out is actually "walk that tight rope!" And we'd reply tight tight tight. All about looking uniform and controlling every aspect of individual movement. I got out in 2012 and when I'm walking I still randomly feel my arms start moving like that lol
Just don’t use the Department of Veterans Affairs for your healthcare. The Augusta Charlie Norwood Veterans Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia made me a cripple.
I dont give a damn what no one says but them DEVILDOGS have a cadence that mesmerizes your soul. We had a former Marine who switched over to the Army. He was assigned to my platoon as my squad leader. He switched up one morning while we were marching to the PT field with U.S. Marine cadence and we were like WTF! He smoked the shit out of the whole squad!😂😂😂😂😂😂 To sum it up, on that day in time,I had the best PT test score in my entire 3 yr tour in the U.S. Army..😝😎. That cadence was stuck in my head the entire time I was knocking out those pushups.lol
Thank you for your service. My family has served in the US Army since World War One. To this day, Im the only one to serve in the Marine Corps 1973-1977. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant
@@usmc-veteran73-77 , you're welcome. I attended EOD school (Aug 90 to Feb 91) with three marines in a class filled with soldiers, airmen, and sailors. All of us were impressed with the devil dogs ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Before I even looked at the video, I knew this was from my beloved Marine Corps. None of the other branches go this hard with the cadence and the recruit responses.
Got them war belts on. You know it’s serious.
Stay hard marines!

Is that a series/ 2 platoons combined together? Looks like a lot of recruits for one platoon.
Plt 2002

I never was in the military due to medical conditions. I do admire the corps for their discipline and training.
War belts at the ready from the halls of montezuma to the shores of Tripoli
99.9% perfect. First row on right, 4 marines back, pollywog swings and shoulders his piece like Gomer Pyle.
Marines will look at this and say “Hell yea.”
Before I even looked at the video, I knew this was from my beloved Marine Corps. None of the other branches go this hard with the cadence and the recruit responses.
Thank you all for being part of a 1% that 99% are too scared of!
With how sharp the platoon is and in synch, my guess is they’re phase 3.
LEAN BACK MAKE THAT RHYTHEM ON THE GROUND

Be strong.Get prepare, Protect Ourselves first then you can protect Others, Thank you for your service
