I'll never forget my DS at FLW in early 2017. She had the voice of an angel, but you DID NOT let that fool you.
Every body forgot to listen to how great the drill instructor sounds because of dude marching out of step
Wow she has a amazing voice, she could clearly of had a career in singing with a voice like that. It's also amazing that she decided to protect her country instead 💖
WOW...I COULD WATCH THIS OVER AND OVER!!!
I graduated on September 10th, DS Lewis was one of my drill sergeants, she’s the bestt
Was this 2-39?
Bravo 1-61 😊
Did you have family day? Was your graduation virtual?
Wireless printing back to my brother's graduation 2 years ago same woman same amazing Sergeant with the same amazing voice wow how I was like put the tears with her voice and how proud I was and are still am with my brother
Salute to all the soldiers that finish basic training last month in Fort Benning Ga.!!!!
Never been in the military but had two uncles and a cousin that served Korean Vietnam and Desert Storm and even I as a civilian know that dude that was out of step would've been ripped and drag for that...
God Bless and Thank you all for your Service
I was looking for this comment.
I thought one of the DI's would've pulled him or do something.
My Daughter did he Basic at Ft. Jackson in 1995,it was 49 years to the day my Dad did his at Ft. Jackson. I am so proud of her. Thank you to all who served, are serving and to Those Who Gave Their ALL ❤❤❤
To your dad and daughter, I thank them both for service.🇺🇲❤️
She has an amazing voice
Thank you for your love and support 🙏
So many Drill Sergeants have amazing voices
Drill sgt fort dix nj.aasult qualified ssg.love to call cadences.
I assume they are because of their voices?. Innocent question here.
I knew someone would eventually record her voice. She was 🔥🔥
Hey it's Drill Sergeant Lewis! I remember her, I always wished she would march us because of her cadences 😂 I was in the platoon to the left of the filmed one
TFYS
I think this Drill Instructor is awesome. Brought back drill memories from long ago USAF TSgt, 82-91
TFYS
Me too, USAF RET, TSGT 1987-2014. That woman can sing. My TIs was cool too. Maybe not able to sing like that but smazing. That soldier in the back needs to learn to march in step. Made me sea sick watching him. Glad that one DI finally went up to him and said something...
Having a good cadence caller made marching & running fun! I was in Ft. Jackson in August ‘96
I did my boot on the original Tank Hill WWII barracks. I will always remember the days of marching through those wood at Jackson and the cadence resonating through those pines. To Drill Sergeant Brock and Drill Sergeant Gates thanks for the training! Charlie Company 3rd Platoon Renegades'
!!
Me too in 69 , the old drafty WW11 barracks! Went to Vietnam after basic and AIT . It was a lot harder and tougher , not taking anything away from today's Soldiers !!! Sgt. Brock sounds very familiar !
Vietnam Vet Tom
Finally someone told him something
Ahhhh DS Lewis. I had this drill Sargent for basic training. They called her “The Queen Of Cadence”.
Drill sergeant Lewis is🔥🔥🔥!!
Wow!!! Super impressive!!!
God bless you all US military and USA in general.
Best regards from the Republic of Ireland!
David O Donovan thank you and God bless to you as well!
@@jennifermiller2996 Your welcome. BTW. Just so you know. You look amazing. 👍💚☺🍀
As a veteran myself, THIS is what I miss most about the military as well as the comradery with people that I served with.
I could listen to this ALL DAY LONG.
Same
Take these god dang Women out of the Army
This was one of my Drill Sgts in basic at 1-61 I loved when she did cadences.
BULLDOGS LEAD THE WAY ROOF ROOF!!!
Tiffany Hill awesome, when did you graduate?
Jennifer Miller Sep. 6 pretty sure that may be us marching actually 😅
Tiffany Hill this is Misfits B 1-61
@@jennifermiller2996 Why didn't you tell us sooner it was "Misfits" ??
Highball I did, 2 months ago.
Her voice is beautiful. Went through Jackson in 2009. Wouldn't trade it!
my husband was at Ft Jackson in 86. He still talks about it at times. More of our young people need this guidance.
Smh. So embarrassing. When I was at Jackson, our Senior drill would've stopped the whole little "charade for the family" thing, & smoked all of us. 🤦🏾♀️
I was ther in 01 lol good times.
That's a long time. Lol it has only been a little over 6 years for me.
@@AziaMarieC Been over 39 years ago for me! Did 12 years.
I was there in 1991. All male DS's. I actually miss them and think about them from time to time. Hard charging, hard asses. But when I was injured, I saw the real Army family. Heavy sigh.
Timothy Hickey I don’t think I could make it 12 years the way it is now. Alot of people are so soft & lazy.
I can still hear the Master Sergeant screaming “GET IN STEP YOU! ITS ALWAYS YOU!” to that one guy in our flight
Damn I’m in love with the voice
GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR MILITARY...EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!
He's trying too hard. As soon as he gets in step, he speeds up, probably thinking hes falling behind.
Boots hurt his feet, he has no rhythm, blisters?
Gomer. 😂
Lol, poor thing😂
As a military brat and later a military spouse, I use to love the sound of cadence and watching the soilders March as we drove by. Some of my fondest child hood memories.
Lord that soldier in the back need to get in step.
Damn, I was in this exact Company, and this is my cycle. I was in First platoon. I have yet to hear another Drill Sergeant with a voice hers. It was motivating.
I'm pleased to see my old training ground, Fort Jackson! Drill Sargent Daniel's and Drill Sargent Cheslock, B company 1977
Cadence.... just listening to it still gives me the chills !!!!! MOTIVATION!!!
I see why he’s in the back, wow!!!!
It also may be why the girl in perfect step is placed next to him.
What I would give to march with that DS! That motivation is dead on!
Marching everywhere with her was quite the experience. Her voice gave chills every time. Victory starts here.
Smoke the platoon for that guy in the back can’t even mark time
New Army bruh
God that bothered me!
Smoking builds character. Write ups teach nothing
@@mr.nobody68 Isn't that during graduation tho? he should know everything by then. Including staying in steps on beat.
I have been out 21 years, and this makes me miss it that much more!
I not only know that Drill, but I also know the company and BN that this was shot at. She sounds like this for every cadence. Shes really sweet, and always super friendly (unless you're a trainee).
Is this bravo 3-34??
Aye!!! It's 1-61!! That's my basic company, super cool to see a video of this
TFYS
@@rockseaH2O thanks for your support
Went to basic in 2007 at fort sill - no female drill sergeants then - but this brings back so many memories!! Thanks for posting!!
That DS has such a beautiful voice.
Damn her voice is amazing Drill instructors of any branch have these amazing talents, They are really good at Making you Laugh, Or They are Have great Voices Or they are just really good at making you suffer.
