    I love watching you. You are so natural, I feel like I'm right in the room with you and you are talking to ME! I've been sewing for a long time but I'm still learning things. I want a coverstitcher!!! 😄

    You taught me alot by making the mistake of cutting your front bodice piece on the fold; I couldn't figure out how to get the nightgown version of this pattern; this is how you do it!! No need for two pieces for the front bodice if you want to make the nightgown! Thank you; thank you.
    You are the perfect teacher for me because you are so knowledgeable and casual. I obsess about everything. Watching you tells me to stop doing that!

    Having made what feels like a thousand pairs of E&M pj's for children this Christmas I'm looking forward to making some of my own! Even better that this pattern is TOTALLY FREE right now! 😍

    Hey hon! These are so adorable!!!! Just love that you used blankets! This time of year blankets are sold everywhere for Christmas for so cheap! I've got to go looking them now you have put it in my head! That type of fabric can be pretty pricey but this is such a cute idea! Oh and I vote snaps! They are so much easier and don't tend to stretch out over time making it hard to keep buttoned. You pup sure is a cutie too! I have a 120 lbs pyra-poo (great Pyrenees and poodle mix) she is also a let me see stand up hugs kind of pooch. Living with giant breed dogs has its own obstacles but they are such a joy 😊 btw thanks for always posting videos! I love watching them and never miss one! ❤ take care and merry Christmas 🎄

    I loved the turn out!! I think you should do snaps 🙂. I recently came across Ellie and Mac patterns and your tutorials have helped me understand sewing so much! I’m a beginner, and have been scared to jump in and try. I’m tempted to try these since they seemed like a fun and easy make. Thanks so much for your videos!

    Thank you for the pattern. Yours turned out pretty cute and they look comfy. No interfacing in the collar? I want to make a nightshirt with the shorter sleeves/no sleeves from woven fabric. I remember putting interfacing in the collar and along the button areas. ?? Opps I just seen that you did add it on the button area.

    I want to make the bottoms with a lounge fabric, like cotton lycra. Have you ever used a fabric other than PJ fabtic? I just assembled the bottoms pattern. They look so big and long. I think I need to shorten them about 6-7 inches. I want them to look good enough to lounge in and not so Much like PJ"S. I want them with knit. Is that the same pattern you would make for a man?

    I'm so confused! I want to make a mens pants without pockets- but you said lining, facing- which do I do?

    • @EllieandMacPatternsLLC
      @EllieandMacPatternsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are not making the pocket version, you do not need the pocket facing. you would cut at the outer line. The pocket facing is not needed.

      For the pocket you need a facing piece which is part of the pattern. If I am understanding correctly this is what you are wondering about? if you are sewing pockets, you need to put the facing at the pocket edge and sew it on to the pants then you sew the pocket bag on. If you are not sewing pockets, you don't need it. Is this what you are referring to?
