    I’ve been trying to do this for swimwear tops. I would have liked to see how to finish the bottom part though, I’m still trying to figure it out!

    I make scrunchies this way with short sides stitched together then long sides together like this going over the middle and pull through as I sew. This is great to know to do it on sleeveless tops. Thank you for this great video.

    Thank you so much for this video! I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to do the burrito method. Now I’m super excited to try it. This is just the 2nd video of yours that I’ve seen. I didn’t know that Ellie & Mac had videos until yesterday when I came across the 1st one and I subscribed immediately. I think it’s a brilliant idea for you to make videos for your pattern. It saves a lot of money to be able to watch the videos instead of having to print the directions plus it’s much easier for me to watch a video instead of reading the directions. I also think that you will sell many more patterns this way because we can see how easy these patterns are to sew and also get some ideas based on the fabrics you have chosen. Ty so much!

    OMG, so glad you did this video! I learned this technique years ago in design school. We used it to make a yoke on a men's dress shirt. There was so much more fabric that had to be rolled up and then fed back through the small opening, so it was a bit tricky. I was thinking about it the other day because it has quite a few applications for doubled fabric but I couldn't remember how to do it. Your video made it easy. Thank you!

    Thank you for sharing the burrito method. I've been sewing for years and have never heard of this method! It is definitely a neater look for sleeveless tops and dresses. I havd just sat here for the last 2hrs trying to read pretty poor instructions on how to do arm holes on a worn tank that had facing and have seam ripped a woven tank more times then I can count and came across your tutorial and was able to finish my top in 10mins ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    That was by far the easiest method I’ve seen and the timing is perfect. I’m making a sleeveless top with a yoke and I decided to line the yoke because I don’t like turning under the neck edge or armholes. Thanks for the video-the length was perfect and you’re really good at explaining what you’re doing. Can’t wait to make a burrito!!

    How neat is that way to sew a top with a lining. I have seen pillows sewn like this but never, never a piece of clothing. Great instructions...love the print material.

    ❤❤❤ I’ve made a a bunch of pillowcases using the burrito method, so I get what you are saying. Plus your verbal instructions and great close up views make it easy to follow. Think I’ll be ordering the pattern for the top you’re wearing. I love the play of the black and white fabrics. You should include it in the photos on your website featuring this pattern.
