Catholics need information such as this video. They never get it in so-called Catholic schools. Thank you for this video.
Here in the Philippines, we have the same devotion to the Infant Jesus, affectionately called the Santo Niño. It is the oldest Christian image in the Philippines, originally a gift from the voyager Ferdinand Magellan to Rajah Humabon (baptized as Carlos) and his wife and chief consort, Hara Humamay (baptized as Juana) on account of their Christian baptism in 1521. The Santo Niño de Cebú was based on a vision of Teresa of Ávila, so it must be a related image to that of Prague. The 500-year-old miraculous image is enshrined at the Minor Basilica of the Santo Niño in Cebu City, Philippines.
If you are in the Philippines, do join the Traditional Catholic movement. Visit the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity at Las Piñas City. God bless! 🙏
I visited the Shrine in Cebu with my brothers, pamangkins and sisters. Beautiful Shrine. It was during my vacation to PHILS. Nag side trip kami to Cebu.
I have my statue since my Confirmation when I was 12 (1962). Was given to me from my grandmother.
My grandmother, a devout convert, treasured her Infant of Prague, changing the vestments with tne seasons of the church. This was many years ago as I am now a great grandmother. How wonderful to hear about the origins of the Infant.
Beautiful explanation! The Infant of Prague was and always will be the King of the Catholic Traditional Church,
the King of our Souls, the King of our Hearts and the King of the World 🌎
I never knew about Rockefeller's Atlas - though i worked at or around Rockefeller Center for several years and often attended Mass at the Cathedral. My Mother - an Austrian American with roots in Bohemia - had a beautiful Statue of the Infant, for whom she sewed exquisite Robes.
Thank you!!! This was LOVELY!!! God bless you and all who watch this one!!!
Thank you for a clear explanation of The Infant of Prague. I've seen the statue many times but never knew the backstory. I'm inspired now to get my own statue and pray the chaplet.
This is one of the most beautiful, edifying and touching defenses of our Precious Infant of Prague I’ve seen! Viva Christo Rey!
My beloved mother was Czech and I can attest that most Czechs cherish the Infant of Prague. This love for the Infant was passed down to me. However, as the matriarch of the family, my mother passed on the love of the Infant to my children. She felt that the Infant was both a religious and cultural treasure.
Dearest Infant, please heal all sick and suffering in the world. Thank You, Lord, we love ❤You!
A must wonderful explanation for the curious,. I am a cradle Episcopalian who has been interested in Catholicism since I was 13, I am finally doing something about it at 72. The Infant of Praha always seemed to beckon to me, but I could not figure it out why until now. Shared to Pinterest, X, and Facebook. Subscribed,
Converted to Catholicism at age 50. Best thing I’ve ever done

Beautiful video! +Holy Infant God, have mercy on us!
Such a wonderful one! Thank you for these!!
Jesus told us, “And said: amen I say to you, unless you be converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3). Thank you 🙏🏽 for this lovely testimonial of our faith.
Very interesting and well done presentation. Much appreciated.
Infant Jesus, by thy mighty power save the world from its impending doom.
There is also the belief that if you honor the infant and keep the infant in your kitchen you will always have food there.
Thank you so much, may God bless you.
HOLY INFANT JESUS, BLESS AND PROTECT US. AMEN.
Love love your video your commentaries your voice , the whole story it's beautiful ❤️ thank you and God bless you
Thank you for this .
I didn't know about the story with St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Infant of Prague and the statue of Atlas at Rockefeller Plaza. What an interesting story! I passed that statue so many times in my life and never knew the Infant of Prague was eye to eye with Atlas. That old rich man, Mr. Rockefeller thought of himself much more of a god than God Himself. Well, God always wins, Good over Evil always wins. Now when I'm in that area again in N.Y.C. this story will forever be in my mind...I will say a prayer to the baby Jesus and always keep him in my heart. I'm so glad I came across this video. Could be Jesus wanted me to, and I thank Him...Thank You Jesus, Amen...✝🙏
Thanks Infant jesus have Mercy on us Amen...
St. Nino de Cebu is the same, made by Spanish carpenters and centred in Philippines.
Holy Infant of Prague, pray for us!
Thank you!
I ❤ St. Patrick's Cathedral ☘️
I made a meme of that juxtaposition. Atlas crushed under the weight of the world and the Infant Jesus saying don't worry I got this.
Send it to Kevin! Maybe we can make an ad out of it!
Perfect!
All Praise, Honour and Glory belong to Our Father Our God Our Saviour Our Protector Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!🙏🏽
Wow that rose window in StOatrick’s is beautiful - I don’t even know what the gals is like - just the tracery is divine. ❤️🙏
Sorry St Patrick’s!!
Be our salvation, amen.
Oh Most Divine Child Jesus be Merciful to us .......

Amen amen n amen. Grateful n thankful our loving savior n redeemer n Holy infant Jesus of the whole world
I come from a very loving Italian family and each woman that was married of our family was always given a statue of the Infant of Prague as a shower gift for your bedroom dresser. It was a tradition. My Aunt would make me new outfits for it for each season. It was given for Blessings for the couple to be married.
The statue of Atlas looks more demon than demigod, but then what’s the difference since "all the gods of the pagans are devils."
Let’s see we’ve got some simplistic name-calling. Is that you Donald?
As far as I know catholic doctrine is not that the gods are demons. I believe everything started as ancestor worship. The gods were perhaps ancestors. Rockefeller was in no way a Greek. Neo atheists...
@@richardmiranda640, no it wasn’t but yours was. Is that you Joe?
@@wednesdayschild3627, "All the gods of the pagans are devils" is a quote from a saint (I think it was St. Francis Xavier) which itself is based on Psalm 95:5 (DRV) “for all the gods of the gentiles are devils".
Calm down pastor heretic
Thank you for a lovely tour of a little-known history of the Infant of Prague. Nice contrast with the worldly J. D. Rockefeller's addition. He was a bit of a devil himself.
Thanks so much for this knowledge. May God bless you forever
My Infant of Prague nothing is impossible to You. My King
I have precious one as my Mothers gift when I was around 20s i have the SANTO NIÑO
now 46 years,
The lovely beautyful smiling statue face never fade.
So HOLY to staring at.
Bless us oh HOLY CHILD SANTO NIÑO
Thank you for the story of the Holy Infant of Prague I am looking to get one and placing next to my statue of the Holy Blessed Mother Mary 🙏❤️
My late mother-in-law who was Polish had a devotion to the Infant of Prague.
I am a Protestant, but I grew up Catholic in the Boston area in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Both my parents and my Uncle Jim had replicas of the Infant of Prague on the top of their bureaus in their bedrooms. I remember them changing the clothes of the statue to the colors of the Liturgical Calendars. Frankly, I am extremely disappointed that Rockefeller would place an odious statue of Atlas, a Pagan image, in the direct sight of St. Patrick’s Cathedral! This is an insult to Christianity, whether Roman Catholic, Orthodox Christianity or Protestantism!
To Thee O Jesus do I flee and through Thy Mother beg of Thee;
For truly I believe that Thou O God will shelter me,
and confidently hope Thy grace to receive.
With all my heart I love Thee, and of my sins repent,
From which I pray Thee deliver me.
My resolution is to amend and never more offend.
I give myself wholly to suffer patiently all for Thee
and serve Thee for eternity.
My neighbor as myself to love for Thee.
O Infant Jesus I implore Thee from all danger set me free;
That with Mary, St Joseph and the Holy Angels
I may love Thee for eternity. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Rockefeller loved PAGANS. He is burning now. The gold statue of Prometheus, the Greek Titan who gave fire to humanity, is located by the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. The statue is the centerpiece of the Lower Plaza and is the most photographed monumental sculpture in New York City. American sculptor Paul Manship created the sculpture, which depicts Prometheus going against the gods' wishes and giving fire to humanity.
At my church the Filipinos have a grand dinner for the Infant of Prague. I was raise to celebrate the Infant feast day. The Infant of Prague came from Spain, and I am Spanish. Live in California go to Church daily, Filipinos have their own click. I find that not being the body of Christ like Jesus taught. We are all one. Thank you
I will defend it with my very life!!
My jesus I both love you and believe in you!!

St. Antonio of Lisbon, where he was born and lived most of his life!
I was just thinking I mean it just ocurred to me, the Declaration of Independence with its "Life, Liberty and pursue of Happiness" which of course the Fathers were Protesntant Christians, not Catholic, is not what the Catholic Faith goes by, "to carry one's cross" , sacrifices waiting for a Life in eternal Heavens.
True. Thankfully, it has historically allowed us to practice our Faith, though, too. By the grace of God, our prayers, sacrifices and prudent action that won't change...
Infant Jesus of Prague, have pity on us
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏❤️
Atlas is not half-man, half-god. He’s a Titan which is the race of deities who came before the gods in Greek mythology. The symbolism with the Christ child is still great though!
Thanks for the clarification.
Amen🙏
I guess you have not seen the La Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona! 3 times or more bigger than this one in NYC

In the Philippines the holy child Jesus or Sto Niño is so famous. We have different sto niño's in every region and every houses or buildings you can see a sto niño images bcoz we believed he is our protection and guidance.
A statue they just showed a video from the parade if that’s the one in my bedroom
The Carmelite Priory in Prague is of friars, not nuns.
Czechoslovakia was dissolved in 1992, 32 years ago
Prague, Bohemia was once the center of the Austro-Hungarian Empire before moving to Vienna, I think.
Chechoslovakia?
And here you see how old my resources (and my brain) are! In the 1600s, it would have been Bohemia, I believe.
@@marym.338 She did. 😉
Used to be Chekoslovaquia allowing wrong spelling for a long time until the Soviet collapsed. It became Chzeck Republic
The Rockefeller family has repeatedly demonstrated its opposition to the Roman Catholic Church since its rise to prominence, and it continues to do so.
Atlas wasn’t a demigod in Greek paganism, but instead a titan. The titans were the beings that preceded the Olympian pagan deities (Zeus, Hera, etc.), and those deities were begotten by two of the titans, Cronus and Rhea.
Thank you for the clarification.
isn't it interesting how religions try to denigrate each other by calling each other "mythologies" ?
On Holy Scripture is proven through artifacts and historical accounts including secular.
The Bible is the most accountable book in history, see The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel.
When others claims can't be proven on any level, than mythology is appropriate.
