I watched a good portion of the RNC. Every time someone opened the convention with a “prayer”, I turned down the volume. I do have a problem with the Republican Party. The new “faces”, are trying to appeal to a broader demographic, and with that they will sacrifice integrity. However, I understand their position: we need to gain control of our country, because it is true, if we don’t, we will not have a country. What we also need to consider is that when we had mass immigration early on, the majority those individuals were Christians, Jews or atheists. Fast forward and immigration brought diverse religions that we had never seen in America. This is where we are as a country now, and we are not unified. I will vote for the party that wants to save America, keep America safe, return America to self-sufficiency, put Americans first over global nonsensical policies. I will continue to pray for the conversion of our country, and by the grace of God, one day return her to the reign of Christ the King. God bless all of you; thank you for discussing this topic.

This RNC is the perfect example of what happens when you go full Populist - you simply adapt your belief system to whatever makes the crowds roar loudest. And usually the "good guys" aren't the loud ones... On the plus side, it was nice to see Vance make several reverent Signs of the Cross over the course of the convention.

So when will Catholic men stop playing their game? The lesser of two evils will never bring about the reign of Christ the King. Trump, when in office, not only endorsed the s o d-O-me agenda but promoted the dissolution of all laws against them globally as his agenda. We need Catholic men of steel like Cortez, Fr. Marquette, Fr. DeSmet and the North American Martyrs.

These people (RNC) aren't stupid. They behave like 1990 democrats because there is no difference between the parties. And that is by design. The "lesser of 2 evils" stance doesn't work anymore. We're being lied to. In order to accomplish their ends, the demons need people to consent to the lie.

Republican Party circa 19th Century was full of crypto-Communists. They were the ones who enforced Reconstruction. This pagan behavior shouldn't surprise anyone. Leftists infiltrated Repubs to split the Conservatives post 2028. Europe doesn't have 1 single Catholic Emporer.

There are definitely pros and cons to the internet. And while the public did not have internet until the 90s, it was around way before that for the government. That said, it should be used as a tool. We can find out a lot of great info about Our Faith and even other stuff. It can be evil in itself, if we choose to use it as evil. It can be a time waster as well. It is hard not to get sucked into some things posted on FB or other places. Before FB, emails were pretty toxic as well. I answered Yes to the poll, though. Ha.

The place to be to cut your teeth on real Catholicism, or earn your stripes as a real Catholic. Honored to say Fr. Dominic and Fr. Jurado are two of the best priests and two of the best men I'll ever know.

Students (and also teachers) learn their history better when it is supplemented by good historical novels, which puts history into context and brings it to life in a way that a textbook cannot do. (It also greatly helps learning to be less painful, especially for this new generation.) 😉
