Wonderful footage. Salute to Britain before political correctness and postmodernism took it down. Bring it back, brothers!

@@J.Bart1 that's not how it works. When your a mature, sane, rational adult who acts on facts, you don't make petty statements like "Britain has been taken down by political correctness" unless you're being sarcastic. You're comeback "yea well you're crazy too in your own way" is like a ruZZian soldier saying, yea but everyone dies as they spend another day drinking ditchwater being shelled. Perhaps, but some of us are drinking fresh ground black coffee.

Had Briton not started the war with Germany and lost 800 ships! Today GB would have been a super power...Agree or Not

BRITAIN did not start a war with Germany, it fulfilled its pledge to it's allies by joining a war Germany had already started.
As for the list ships, a donr think it's relevant because Britain had as many or more ships at the end of the war because of a massive wartime ship building project. The Navy had more Battleships and Aircraft Carriers at the end than it did at the start.
As for superpower, I doubt it, India was already nearing independence and it was the main profit maker of the empire, a lot of the rest were stratigic holdings costing money, to deny them to the enemy or rivals at least. Without India the Empire was a waste of time and the appetitefor empire was waning.
Russia would have fallen if not for Britain I think, all those Axis troops and equipment lost, or fighting against, or guarding against the UK, could have been used against Russia, axes to Suez, axes to British Empire oil, not fighting the British, USA probably not entering the war, both maybe not supplying a communist regime in favour of a country they are not at war with? Japan an ally of Germany not fighting the USA and UK, China might have been in more trouble with East Russia nextfor its Eastern resources.
End up with Britain weaker, USA weaker, Japan mighty in the far East and Germany mighty in the west and the Soviet Union all but destroyed and broken up. The British Empire in the east would fall to independence or Japanese influence, India would be independent, and increased rivals in Africa from Italy and Germany and Viccy France, with Germany controlling European mainland trade, a bit like the EU really, kind of were we are after Brexitbut maybe with a little more unprofitable empire left than now.
      So, No it wouldn't.
