I just got the cream version of this tictac, i absolutely love it, i kinda wish it had a 9 on the dial to even it out. To me though it doesn’t feel as nice as my Alpinist

Jade I’m glad I don’t wear watches you make it very easy for someone to crawl into that rabbit hole and could definitely be quite costly!!! Keep up the awesome content see you in the next video!!!!
I wouldn't put too much stock into believing that the 4r is any different than the NH movement just because they are manufactured in different factories. You better believe that the same QC issues run throughout the company no matter geographics 😂. No, but in all seriousness, these movements are mostly assembled by machine. This is anecdotal, but I've had great QC from outside of Japan and terrible QC from inside, and vice versa. Its the luck of the draw with seiko.
All Seiko 4R (NH35) and 6R movements are made outside of Japan - there was a thread on this on WUS, apparently it is not cost effective for Seiko to make any watch under ~$4K in Japan. Threshold for what is labeled "Made in Japan" is very lax (it can be made in Malaysia but if the factory manager is a Japanese national, it can be labeled thus) which is unfortunate because it tarnishes and dilutes the "Made in Japan" brand value : Japanese products made fully in Japan in other industries is amazing in craftsmanship and QC. For the above $4K watches in Seiko you'd have to get to Grand Seiko watches which is probably the true representation of "Made in Japan" quality.
Just bought mine today! Can’t wait!
Your going to love it!
I like it even more than the regular Alpinist.

After getting mine, I ordered a Lincoln bracelet from Uncle Seiko. It´s my favotire watch in my collection since then.
Hi mate, do you happen to have the link to the Lincoln bracelet?
@@patrickgrayhurst9781 In the Uncle Seiko web site, it´s the same models that fits all SARB.

Does anyone knows how many pieces have been prosuced from this series or from the SZSB006?
Could not find any information online
I believe 2 runs of 300 each
@@JadeGeminiM390 thanks!
I have one SZSB006 with serial no. 000141. Does this means that this is from the first run and the 141th produced piece?

Never had a problem with a Seiko movement.
