- That's a lot of diy pillows and just in time for fall decor. I've sewn a lot of pillows before but this is my first time diy-ing them with zippers and I am very happy with the results. The mud cloth pillows are fabulous but I do love the antique quilt-top pillows as well, they are so unique! All of these throw pillows will be going to The Factory Antique Mall for the fall reset very soon!

Beautiful! BTW, my wife and I visited your booth in the Factory all the way from Oklahoma City, OK. We had a great time. I bought the green Thumbprint picture to go with our 45 thumbprint goblets!!! Your booth was looking great and we were so excited to see it in person.
OMG your cat sneaking in behind you at 1:58, so funny! He's a little ham. The pillows turned out wonderful. Can't wait for the booth reset!! I also love that you are putting out more content on TH-cam.

Love you, you are always inspiring and a joy to watch.❤❤❤PS rotary cutters are more of a pushing tool rather than pulling. ☺️And a self-healing mat underneath it helps it to stay sharp for longer. I love those clippies, too!❤️

You may want to check out making a "French pocket" for your pillow backs. Quite easy.
You did an amazing job! But I have to say I literally got goose bumps when you panned the camera across the wool quilt ones, because all I could think about was the person that made it back in the day, and how happy they would be to see that other people get to enjoy it still today. I especially love rescuing old handmade items that I know someone put their heart and soul into making!

Hi Amanda, love the pillows! I was wondering where you got the box of pillow inserts from.
Quick tip for you. Use a elmers glue stick to glue the zipper in place before sewing it. No need for clips or pins for this step.

Background music that's just instrumental is always best. Lyrics are distracting and seldom add to what's being shown.
I'm curious what the market is for these. It seems like an obvious item, like something available too many other places. Hopefully they resonate with people browsing the booths, and become steady sellers!

I have antique monogrammed linen handyowels from my husband great grandmother. I've been planning on making boudoir pillows but never got around to it. AND I just saw a bunch of these vintage handtowels at my local thrift store for $1 !! Also, I have my mother' bridal handkerchief (beautiful wide lace edging) and I was going make a pillow for wedding rings during theceroneu. A couple of ideas for small pillows from vintage linens.
The pillows are fabulous and I just wish I lived closer so I could buy some. I actually think your prices are great, maybe even on the low side. If you ever decide to sell them online it would be pretty easy and cheap to ship them wrapped in tissue paper, folded and shipped in poly bags. You’d sell bunches of them to all your fans sitting out here drooling over them! What a great job you did making them!❤❤❤

I was looking at pillows on Poshmark today and I watched your video about a month ago and I noticed these pillows that look just like your mud cloth pillows being sold for $200. They are a 20 x 20.

Shipping is sooooo hard! I feel your pain there. Factoring in the expense of the shipping materials, plus time, plus the shipping costs themselves making pricing a nightmare. Then, it takes way more time than you think to pack things (especially breakables). It's all just so much when you're a one-woman show doing this as a part-time gig. I applaud you for your TH-cam content! I've thought about it so many times, but just can't bring myself to do it. One person only has so much bandwidth.
Remind people to subscribe. All other you tubers do. You have great, interesting content and I’m sure some people just watch and enjoy, but don’t hit the like much less subscribe. Toot your own horn.
Very nice pillows. My 1st thought...can you put a beautiful silky tassel on each corner? I think it would be the finishing touch and add a bit of elegance.

You’d like spray starching before working with the material- Amazon or Walmart or most grocery stores. Quilters use this a lot. Elizabeth
You are amazing. Is there anything you can’t accomplish……. I have a quilt my great grandmother made that is damaged on one corner. Pillows are just dying to be made from the undamaged portion thanks to you.
The pillows look great and I love mud cloth. Your pillows made from antique rugs are beautiful, too. Do you ever make 18x18 or 22x22?

Your pillows are beautiful. Your video shows that there is a huge amount of back work that goes into selling. For those who think that selling is easy.
You can also use Pinking shears to finish your edges. That is much less expensive than purchasing a serger.
