I love that idea of the sweater for hot water bottles. It would be such a nice sentimental gift as well if the sweater was from your grand parents or someone you love
The "All Creatures Great and Small" series is great Autumnal fun for me. I love the older ones with Christopher Timothy as James Herriot, a young veterinarian who goes to work in Yorkshire, England. There is a new series that looks to be exquisitelly filmed on PBS as well! I also love the "Little Women" with Wynona Rider as Jo March. "You've Got Mail" with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks is a wonderful film. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these projects for fall 🍂🍁! These are all marvelous suggestions! I especially love your Bible cover! ❤
Great sewing project ideas for fall season! Here’s a tip: instead of buying expensive pillow forms, buy an inexpensive bed pillow from Target. Often you can make more than one pillow with the pillow fill. You can use the fabric cover for case insert too. Often I take a pillow from my home that still has some life & replace with the new one.
I used to make dresses for my daughter and now she’s 32 and has a baby girl. I’m thrilled to start sewing again. Got the bear pattern and looking forward to making one for my granddaughter ❤
Want to make my daughters old baby clothes into some sweet memory crafts. I just made her a quilted toothe fairy pillow and i had never quilted before! Now i want to learn to embroider to i can reinforce the seams. I have a beautiful alpaca sweater that i want to turn into something. Love the jacket❤
My favorite movie (I'm from Switzerland) is "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel", in English "Three nuts for cinderella". It has been turned in 1973 in Czech Republic... Absolutely most beautiful fall/winter movie!
I just donated old wool and cashmere sweaters I had stashed to declutter. I thought I would 6:46 never be inspired to create a useful item with them. Hopefully I can find at least one I still gave for a hot water bottle cover!
Please…where is the fabric from on the fourth hanger in from the left at 11 seconds in? On the clothing rack. It looks like a two toned blue check ? I need to make alterations to a dress and I’m trying to somewhat match the fabric…this looks very similar. I just hope it wasn’t thrifted. I’ve been searching thrift stores for a match for some time and I haven’t found anything remotely close.
Your turn to share! What is your favorite fall movie to watch while crafting?

I need to watch Little Women again! Just watched Notting Hill, which is free on YT and that was very relaxing.
Yes, but which little women? I love the one with Wynonna and the first one.
