- The 2022 Trek Marlin 4 is pretty similar to the 2021 Trek Marlin 5! I wanted to review the specs more because I hadn't noticed the Trek Marlin 4 last year when I was shopping for my kids bikes and ended up getting 2021 Trek Marlin 5s.

Greeting from Mexico, so I been waiting for the Marlin 6 to be available in my country, lol but with the bike drought, as people been calling it, I haven’t been able to get it, plus the fact the only Marlin 6 2021 is available to purchase, I still rocking my old Ironhorse 6.1, with heavy maintenance I been doing fine for easy trails but I do want something more hehe, anyway I enjoyed you videos, I would like more comparisons and gear review videos, keep on the good work mate

Hey great video! I was just wondering what are your thoughts on the Trek Roscoe 7 2021 I am thinking of buying one? My riding style is agressive and I like to do some jumps and I do some commuting also. So would that bike be good for those things and would that be one of the best options for the price?
Yeah for the price for sure! I really enjoyed mine while I had it!

Thank you so much for this review you cleared up a lot of questions I had between the two bikes. I primarily wanted one of the matte black bikes but I got so confused because my local bike shop only had the 2021 m5’s and since the specs are pretty much the it’s a lot cheaper for me to pick that one up then it would be the newer m4 haha

Please respond. Should I get 4 or 5 are the breaks that much better on the 5? I'm going to be using mostly on pavement, light trails. Will get into more trails later on.
I don't think you'll notice a difference on the brakes for your type of usage
I'm really confused in buying in one of these.
my ride style would be mostly on road and less on casual trails
im considering 2022 marlin 4 because it has 3 gears in the front which may prove for better speeds on roads
but marlin 5 is offering lock suspension and hydraulic brakes.
which one you think would be good

Not sure which one of these to buy, there currently only £50 difference in uk, I only want it for riding on road and a few country farm roads
