    Here is the debut of our DPUK quickspooler manifold, 1000rpm faster spool on the big billet borgwarner.
    This prototype and our custom clutch kit is going to be used on a drift car!
    The test car in this clip is my own w124 sportline of dreams Dieselpumpuk pre numbered car.

    Cutting the fuel output but increasing the rpm can actually save the motor. High load, low rpm puts more stress on an engine. Congratulations on the numbers, with that power curve not much will pass you on the road😉

    i think building a compound turbo setup makes way more fun then running one big single turbo and smoke like a train

    Definitely missing the torque of a diesel, I have a 3 litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel with a redline of 4k. But where you get 1000nm of torque we get that with around 200-250hp and at earlier rpm not 600hp at the later.
    Edit: I don't mean to be putting down the OM series I love them for what they are but to me it's like a diesel that performs like a petrol. Just pure beauty

    I used to rev my om603 to 5,600 rpm stock engine. Sometimes it would rev to 6k rpm when transmission would slip, it survived. :)

      Early mech pumps with big elements did this sort of rough lumpy idle thing. You can get anti rudder mod done now that makes it idle smooth.

    I can't believe what I am seeing here...
    I am preparing to do a bi-turbo setup on a N/A 606.
    But I am not shotting for 500 Hp.
    More like 300 Hp.
    But I want to do a Bi-Turbo setup that does well also on lower RPMs like 1500 to 3000.
    So I wanna do a smaller turbo being fed by a bigger turbo.
    Both sides being in a serial configuration, where the smaller turbo and it's waste gate is feeding the bigger turbo.
    What brand and what size turbos would you recommend for this project?
    I am new to the 606 engine, but I already love it.
    Thanks for any input you can give me.

      EvenStar LoveAnanda if you do go compound, don’t boost silly pressure down low below 2.5k or you will bend the na rods very easily

      Old reply but if it was a stock NA engine he blew it up far b4 reaching 500hp. The NA rods are much thinner than the turbo

    if you just did exhaust out of the back could you then make it mot approved with the emmisions? and why do you guys use borgwarner instead of holsets these are cheaper or is this a variable turbo? keep it up guys

      ThaDutchDK1989 to make it approve mot emissions i would strongly advise reducing the fuelling, i use the borgwarner turbos as there is a far greater range of options for the tuning market.

      thanks for the reply i read something that its 2 possible to reduce fueling just for mot(short period) cause you always like as much hp as possible.. with some kind off rack limiter...(some one made that on std) is the w211(thats amazing btw )mot aproved? cause thats smokes a lot less..

    Everything looks nice but Ive noticed one thing in your videos, what is that strange rattle noise comin from the engine ?? Its like the engine wasnt running smoothly.

      wow really? ive put my tdi at 5k for an extended period, still runs great, id be worried about floating a valve but it didnt. i didnt have a tack in my old 240 but i promise i reved it to at least 4500 sometimes. stock peak power on the om606 is at 4400 rpms im sure 4500 is great 5000 you may be looking at valvetrain issues. i wouldnt be worried about the rods or piston because of rpms, in fact high power at low(2-3k) rpms is what known to kill stock rods, lots of 500 hp 6000 rpm om606 with stock rods and pistons. all single turbo's like hx40 or 52, 3000 plus rpm spool.

      yeah, you can easily rev 606 and 605 to 6000 rpm with stock internals. just upgrade your valve springs and you can go 7000. bottom end is bulletproof :)

    is to 4.1 bar boost , that means 5100hpa air pressure ?
    I have 2 bar boost (3000hpa) and edc pump, HX35, now with 160ccm element. unfortunately mapsensor is just up to 2 bar boost(3 atm) from VW. Mapsensor for 3 bar (4 arm) has different linearisation and when istalled ECU assumes 1024hpa, emergency, because of voltage to low.
    How much boost stock head gasket can take? i have heard about 2,5 bar and geadgaskets gone .... what head gasket do you have on this 4,1 bar boost ... thats twice as much as I.

    Any experiance with M57 Diesel Engine vom BMW 335d? Can the Engine be push to the same Power Level? The Gearbox is also strong an can take 900NM. I love old Mercedes Diesel, but BMW is more modern, plus the amazing mid range torque of the Twin turbo System.

      The reason the 12 valve Cummins and OM606 engines are built is because they are mechanical.
      Bigger fuel pump and injectors, then add turbo - power.
      Electronic ignition and common rail injection means changing so much more to get power.

      4500-5000 rpm is about end of the world for a diesel.

      Mervyn Leong dieselpumpUK are selling they homepage adapters to bmw manual transmission so i think they'r using adapter and bmw zf transmission.

      Matt R.S. it needs no wires to run. Well the starter needs power obviously but the pump shuts off using vacuum

    800bhp at the crank should be no problem if the engines pushed to 6k rpm. But I think the Standard engine would be a ticking bomb at that. Have you ever experienced an om606 blow up? I've never seen one lol

      Pump elements at maximum. And for the idle you need LESS fuel, but thats now out of the "control range "

      maybe its enough if you change the pump elements to 6,5-7mm. ~300hp no problem.

      Colour is factory. Onyx Grey only car on the later Sportlines. Very rare car and colour.

      @@DieselPumpUK Hey, really interesting project.. I am building my 635d for 550hp on diesel, currently 475hp but tune not finished.. I will do a new set of sequential turbos soon currently the modified LP is 6464 but turbine is super small only 6cm2.. what turbo have you used on that engine? I would like to know wheels dimensions and turbine AR if possible. Kind Regards, Jackson from London.

    Way too large
    turbo, makes engine very laggy and smoking a lot... and lot of smoke = lot of heat
