I love my natural hair. I’ve been Sister locks for 7 1/2 years and my hair is always down my back to my butt X. Is a commitment, but I love it. 🩷thanks the Most High
Your hair has grown so fast. It's absolutely beautiful. My hair is very fine and sensitive. Can't do braids, wigs or any of the extra. I get a light press every 6 months. It just stays straight that long 😮.
Lovely your hairs really gone long. I remember when you cut it so short Becca. Looking forward to seeing the results after you've had it trimmed and styled ❤❤❤
Thank youuu! Yesss I’m so excited. Also looking forward to how she recommends I take care of my hair between appointments. I would love to learn from a professional for my hair.
I have naturally curly hair, which can be quite difficult to style too. I have not blown out my hair since 2020. Currently I just wash it put some leave in conditioner on and that's it. Had long hair and cut it just above my shoulders. I admire people, like you, who have such a lot of patience doing your hair. Your hair looks healthy and I love how thick it is. Hope your new stylist will be able to help you with ideas on how to style your hair. ❤
Girl, I'm the same. My natural hair is so long and I just wear wigs because I do not know what to do and do not have the time. I also have found a woman near me who does hair and she actually knows what she's doing. I'm excited to work with her. Good luck girl. The natural hair struggle is real.
My hair is also 4C. I have been natural for so long that I can't recall the last time I had a relaxer? I wear it short so maintenance isn't hard and I trim it myself. One thing that I avoid is heat so I let it air dry versus using a blow dryer.
Hi Becca I’ve been natural since 2020 i am 4c and i wear braids & sow-ins at times . I’m thinking about getting dreads maybe in the future. Your hair is beautiful, healthy and a good length. Thanks for sharing your natural hair journey with us 🥰🫶
This is me all day, I am tender headed and my hair has always been a problem for others and me. Wait till the grey is added in as well, it doesn't get any easier, sorry.
Natural hair journey is real!!!! I would rather go to work than deal with my hair. We have the exact hair type and I never wear my hair natural. I always wear a protective hairstyles like crochet twist. Protective twist is my go to and it last for two months. My goal is to grow a crazy fro or shave my head .. Natural hair or look like James Brown😊
3 weeks snd your scalp still looks so clean. I miss my scalp being that way but randomly developed seborrheic dermatitis last year so my scalp always looks super white with flakes
Hey Rebecca, your hair has grown so fast. I remember when you cut it and said let's start over. I have the same type of hair you do. I agree, the struggle is more than real I tell you that much 😅😅🙃😆😆😅!! I can't wait to see how everything turns out when you go to the hair stylist. Have a great week and love your consistency ❤❤!
I'm natural & have 4b/4c hair. I wear it out all the time bc I don't really like sew-ins or braids. I have to get it done every 2-3 weeks. Honestly I've thought about doing faux locs recently.
I feel you about the frustration of dealing with hair. I am currently in the process of transitioning from relax to natural. I have crochet braids which I will be taking out after a month because I am not use to them. Hope to find someone to do a proper trim and two strand twist. Tfs and continued success!
I’ve had a perm for most of my life, so I finally decided to let it grow out, and then I cut off the remainder of permed hair , I love my natural hair , it’s like I’ve rediscovered myself, but I have to say it’s been hard to decide what exactly to do with it, it’s all new to me , now a tiny coily natural from bone straight past shoulder length, pray for me y’all lol
Loose natural since 2009 and kept my hair short. Recently got sisterlocks, therefore, they are currently short 😩. I think I am going to love them though.
Ive only been natural for about 10 years, I have a lot of hair but its extremely fine and mix texture so it took way too many years to learn since most people have thick hair and the products are very different. My hair was very very long but I cut it about 3 years ago for a friend and it was short and crazy (I was trying new things for the first time 😅) for avout 2 and a half years. Right now its almost a year mark since I cut it tonless than an inch for growth. Its growing quite fast and Ive forgotten the time and struggle its the longer hair. Plus I had anemia and was loosing hair without noticing. Anyways literally yesterday gotvyhe reminder that I have to start the whole section, detangle and hair masks.
Hey! I love your hair it's so healthy, I have the same texture and it reached shoulder length and has never grown past that 😅..I prefer braids using extensions or without, I do my braids sometimes but I get such sore arms and back, so it's not all the time. I do have my sister braid my hair using extensions or I go to the salon, I like knotless braids but they bother me so much when I'm taking them out, so I always think of how the take out process will be when I'm putting in braids. I bought some wigs but I never wear them! It seems like a waste of money now.. and I've done a sow-in once, wasn't really a fan..in between my braids I like to put my fro in a bun and style it or put in twists, twist-outs or bantu knots and knot-outs sometimes..❤I do love my hair and would never permanently straighten it for any reason! I have been considering a silk press but I have to find a really good stylist who won't burn my hair.. sending so much love from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪
Most black people struggle with what to do with their hair, whatever is easier for you it’s fine , I have 3 different textures , it’s a lot sometimes I just chop 😊
Rebecca! Thanks for sharing. I’m natural my stylist passed away. And it’s been a journey. Wigs and ponytail. Have you tried the hairdryer with the brush. It works wonders with natural hair?
U have good gestures I think u know how to handle u hair very well u just not using the best products, go more natural like, okra or flaxseed gel l, fruit puree as hair cond, powders, herb infusion, Shea or cocoa butter to lock in moisture, castor oil is amazing ❤
My hair is a hot mess. My scalp is very sensitive and won'thold a silk press. I find a lot of products have lavender in them and I'm highly allergic to it. I had braids for a while but some braid my hair way to tight and my hairwasfalling out. Right now I'm au natural, keeping my hair short. I will wear a wig in the winter but it's too hot in the summer to do so. My hair needs help.
smh I am natural almost 10 years I am 3b 3c low porosity and I can't stand it. I want to try this product that I saw black owned Miche Beauty on TH-cam. I saw her products a few days ago and I am very interested in purchasing.
What’s the odd that we have the same hair lenght with the same black beauty mark close to our collarbones? I use my black spots to track my hair growth 💀
Your hair has grown a lot! I remember when you cut it. Will you get it straightened during your up upcoming salon visit? I shaved my head last month so right now I’m sporting a very short natural look. Mostly into wigs but I do want a healthy head of fine natural 4c hair.
Thank you! And yes 🙂 my hair will be straighten for my salon visit. It’s going to be the first time I’ve straighten my hair since I cut it so I’m excited to see how it looks. Nice! I’m sure you look beautiful with your new look 🤗 pray your journey goes smoothly ❤️
Hope you enjoyed my natural hair update! ☺

Two strand twist is great for 4C hair.

All natural , similar texture and I wear my hair out mostly.
Natural looks lovely ❤
Thank you! A lot of work but so worth it ❤️

Very nice Rebecca ❤
I love that deep conditioner
Beautiful 😍 your hair has grown great
I thought I was the only black girl that struggles with knowing how to style my natural hair.
The struggle is REEAALL 😮💨
U are not the only one...I can't even comb my own hair 😂
It's a struggle. The only thing I wear is twist and twist out
I'm a Natural beauty
Yes you are 😍
I live in the Caribbean. So it is very hot. My hair is a 4c type. I am relaxed and have a very short pixie.
Please research the dangers of using relaxers (if you don't know already).
I wore locks for almost 20 yrs. I took them out 2 months ago. I'm now trying to decide what to settle on.
Wow 20 hears is a long time! 😱❤️ What made you take out your locs?
