Same. Mustache, beard, late menstruation, acne, weight gain, sleep apnea, hair loss.

The only symptom i have is insulin resistance. My BMI is lower than normal. I am skinny. I don't have excessive hair on my body. My periods come every 27th day. Still i am unable to concieve. I have been trying to concieve. Never thought i'd be diagnosed with pcos since i never had a symptom. Its heartbreaking

I am so glad I found your TH-cam Channel. I have not had my period in years and I am really hoping to turn my life around with your help! These mistakes are things I always do and this time around I am trying to see this lifestyle change as something sustainable and something to work on bit by bit. I need to be patient and focus on a holistic approach instead of a fad diet

Thanks so much for your comment! Doing too much too soon is definitely going to make it harder. I love that you are looking at this as a lifestyle change!

Try bioidentical progesterone cream! Whenever my period disappears because of my pcos, the cream brings it back.

Hi, just wanted to ask a few things. I've had foot injuries in the past which give me pain everyday. As a result, I am not able to exercise really. I know that with having PCOS I should be exercising however I can't afford gym memberships as I thought well maybe I could start aqua aerobics. I also can't afford yoga classes and so on...so what can I do? I have changed my diet dramatically about a year and a half ago and now its become a way of life so that's good. I have cut out, bread, pasta, potatoes and rice (all white carbs) I allow myself a carb night once a month, just so I don't go crazy. I am a single mum and I find that just sticking to this diet or way of eating is hard enough. Supplements are all expensive, again, for me. I am always scared to looked at things like your masterplan video because I know there are a lot of things I can't afford, that are unfortunately needed to help with PCOS. Can you please give me some basic advice on what I can do about PCOS? So far I am watching my diet...sorry for long comment. PCOS really gets to me sometimes. Thank you.

I have PCOS and i have been reading a lot about it and kind of had a similar question, since i have been in college and just recently finished i wanted to go on a diet but i wanted to make sure i was going on a diet right for me and i found this site :D It really gives you a lot of info about what diets are good for people with PCOS since our hormone levels are not normal so we have to exercise differently from other people so i dont think you will need to go to the gym, and a few weeks back i bought a small exercising set (skipping rop, waits, and the elastic rope) and i think thats a better option then spending money on a gym when this is a lifelong commitment and i think buying your own equipment would save you a lot. (Take it from someone who has been in and out of the gym so many times). I hope your foot injuries get better :D www.fertilitychef.com/how-to-lose-weight-with-pcos/

Hey I am actually a Doctor doing my internship right now and also a patient of pcos myself. I had irregular menstrual cycle with mild hirsutism, acne and obviously weight gain. My gynaecologist at the time recommended "ethinyl estradiol and cypriterone acetate tablets". These are basically oral contraceptive pills (21 days) but the cyproterone acetate is specific to pcos patients. You can try these oral contraceptives pills or a similar one (estrogen-progesterone combined pill)
Do not take them for more than 7-8 months at once. Take a break in between

hi, I would recommend doing yoga at home. there are tons of free yoga videos, I love yoga with Adriene specifically. if you have a tv that can play youtube, use that, if not, I usually lay my laptop on the ground in front of my yoga mat. theres so many videos to choose from and yogas also super relaxing. who knows, it may even be healing for your foot injuries?

I just walk lightly. It can be a couples times a week to almost everyday. Even if it is about 20 mins.
There are also tonnes of videos on TH-cam for exerciese, even for certain restrictions. Focus on weight training with some walking if you can.
